I think the art, at its best, has a tendency to rival the original season at its best.

The problem is that the new stuff is never at its best.

Are you kidding? Compare Sighs V to Live Alive. They look VERY different.

Sighs V has a lot more shading and detail...

Hence the term "started." I still believe that when new episodes do get animated (it hopefully won't be another three years), that the art style will return. I'm sure most people would prefer it that way.

Yeah, but they look different in an Ok way (for each). Unlike, say, Yuified Haruhi....

Sorry to beat a dead horse here again, but this horse at least hasn't been touched for awhile now, and I felt like since we're talking about art style anyway...

The biggest concern I have is that by the time the new episodes do get animated, some of the voice cast will be unavailable. Nothing sucks more than when a voice change occurs for a character (particularly when it's a character of fairly high importance).

Well, Freeman and Wendee Lee should still be around, as they're both unbelievable workhorses. Their body of work is unreal!

I don't know as much about the other voice actors though.

Despite this being the dub thread, I'm pretty sure Jonbob was referring to the original cast.

That being said, however, JYB took the time to fly over to New Zealand to record two episodes of Power Rangers while still doing dub work. I don't think there'd be a problem with him, either.

Actually, I was talking about the dub cast, but the Japanese actor can also be included in that. I'm worried about both.

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere (or if this is the right spot to post it), but the asosbrigade website has been updated. With a sweet vid!

Oh, and Merry Christmas! If you don't celebrate Christmas...Happy Holidays, then.

Hmm... surprises, huh? I think a dub for the new season is well on its way.

This weekend there will be an update of the page, perhaps with an official announcement of the licensing of the series.

Excuse my possible ignorance, but how are you so sure it's a dub announcement? Did the announcement of the 2007 dub occur onthat site first, or what?

Perhaps not the first announcement, but they had polls to determine the VA. I'm bumping the old thread, perhaps it is more appropriate to discuss the licensing that his one.

The video did mention there will be "subtle changes" with the Endless Eight episodes.

Has there been any news on if Haruhi-Chan will get a dub or not?

It'd be nice if they did a subtle shout-out to the novels and changed the numbers of the repetitions, so the last episode matches the real number.
