Mazinkaiser SKL OVA announced.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...ation-revealed This unfortunately doesn't look like a Shin Mazinger sequel but rather its own thing. |

It's a spinoff of a spinoff and that's pretty weird. I like the design though so I'm cool. Now what concerns me the most is the budget and the director. This will have a hard time surpassing Shin Mazinger and if they're getting the same dude who did Shin Jeeg and New Getter, then I'm not too hyped on this. I hope it will have a strong story with a Mazinsaga atmosphere. |

In my opinion, it looks awesome. I have seen another pic with Mazinkaiser holding a gun in its hands (besides the sword), and with Minerva X in the background. The only thing I don't like is the fact that designs of the characters were changed (and their names, as well, if the rumours are true).

Whao! That is one sick manzinger! Man I think they wanna revive the "God Mazinger" series with this new modern one, but they wanted Kouji to be still the pilot. Awesome!
Edit: New thread says it's Ken and Ryu. SHORYUKEN!!!!! lol

So I've been thinking about watching 'Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z Hen' despite the fact I'm not a big super robot fan. However, if the show is really violent and visceral, I'd be more than willing to watch it.
So, how's the level of violence and gore in this series? |
