Since the "Return of Himawari!!" was successful making a team, including a "hard-to-get" translator, I thought I would do it again for Happiness! though the lead position is slightly different:

~~1 Editor [For episode 01-12 (you saw that right, from episode one, and yes, we have scripts for the first six too :P), in case IJ (same IJ from Sprocket-Hole) does not reply back to me within a week].~~ He replied back.

1-2 Timer(s) [For all twelve episodes. Knowledge of all different kinds of timing methods, including \alpha. k-timing a must. Experience preferred. Apply ASAP - the faster work on this is made, the faster edogawa is].

1-2 Quality Checker(s) [Self-explanatory. Check for grammar, spelling, timing, and typesetting mistakes/errors].

P.S. Episode 01-12 have yet to be encoded; but workraws are available. Specifications are DVD 704x480 (AR 853:480), h264, mkv (will have all scripts as softsub, including OP/ED karaoke).

Himatsubushi means killing time. We sub as a hobby and only work when the translator is hima. We're trying new procedures, it doesn't do too well because we have bottleneck in edit.

The editor must be able to work with other members in real time. The translator's accuacy is among the best, but he is not native English. So an editor is needed. He must be someone fun to work with and have experience in fansub edit. An audio file is usually provided, it would be useful if you can hear some Japanese.

Because the editor have to be free in airing time (Friday 26:25-6:00 in JP, 19:25-23:00 in EU or 12:25-16:00), we expect someone living in EU for this position. {or someone free in those hours}

Update: Someone helped in working. Angel beats is probably okay too. We may have enough workforce.

Hi there!
I'm oferring myself as a timer.

I would like to work in a speedsubbing group (or at least one group who doesn't take more than 3 days to release an episode after it airs) at next season. I can join and do some works while the show doesnt airs.

I'm currently in 2 groups, but one of them speedsubs only one thing and the other is slow as hell. I want more action.
My UTC is -3 and my english is horrible as you can see in this post.

Anyway, depending on the show+my mood, I take between 15 mins~40 mins to time. I've been fansubbing for 5 or 6 years and my schedule is good (I have basically all afternoons and nights, I'm usually at classes by the morning).

If you're interested in me, just send a PM here or contact me at rizon, Raijenki (or leave a message to my bnc, rjk, if I'm offline).

Hm, I don't have much to say. That's all.

Edit: Ah, I forgot to tell this because some faggots once complained about it.
In my timing, I usually use alpha times and the fine timing is done manually.

We at Hokuto no Gun have decided to undertake the translation of two classic anime tragically forgotten by the Western world. However, we have encountered some difficulties. For one, we have been unable to find a typesetter or encoder for the Sakigake!! Otokojuku project, and the Kinnikuman typesetter is MIA. Furthermore, the visionary translator for Kinnikuman has left the group after five episodes for personal reasons, and the project is on hold until we find a new translator. He also served as the DVD raw provider for Otokojuku, so we need a new source for the DVDs.

If you are able to step in and help Hokuto no Gun get the ball rolling, we will be very grateful.
