Ah. People seemed to be throwing fits over it what with the replaced BGMs along with the typos and some removed minigame or something. Guess it was an overreaction... Not surprised, haha. Thanks.

Also I had NO idea they made printed copies of their Higurashi translations! I would've loved to go and get a copy of those... Ah, well. Next year maybe =P.

That particular note matches up with the EP4 version, so there shouldn't be any problems (they also have fliers for when you buy it). And people won't have long to wait for EP6 anyway ^^

Yes, they were selling EP4, and for cheap if you can get into the expo. So, if you were thinking about going anyways, might as well pick up a copy if you know someone who wants it. I think you can get it for a bit over half of an import. Expo keeps going until July 4.

I've got to be the only person in the world who loves that UI. I find it convenient especially for the quick save option. (Since i'm a habitual saver.)
Also the way it looks doesn't bother me at all.

As a side note, the grammatical things are GREATLY improved with the Kai arcs. It really took the edge off the somewhat higher price. Heh.

Hey, here to report a problem I'm having running Ep. 4 with the new(ish) patch w/ installer. Once I start a game, no matter where it is, the second text comes up, the window closes. I was able to run the game for a while before this started happening, now I cannot play 1-4 because of it. I'm using Windows Vista on Japanese locale (haven't bothered to change it back yet) if that's any help. I have already uninstalled and then reinstalled the game and patch as well, but it continues to happen. I have not had this problem with any other visual novel on my computer (whether or not it uses on-scripter, but I'm pretty sure Narcissu does and it works fine.)

Check and see if you have the font properly set up? If it's crashing on text, that could perhaps be why.

The price was the main kicker for me, especially for what I saw they did with Kai, although it's good that they were trying to get the arcs out in a timely fashion. Euros are just a pain for Americans and the flimsy USD (it's evening out as of late, luckily) :P.

Importing all three Japanese games cost me less than buying the first game and one arc of Kai.

It should be fast this time, but since we have several editors, it's impossible to be more precise. It's very possible we'll be seeing a release about a week from now, but no guarantees.
