Episode 4 was really cool, glad to see Oichi is still alive and kicking. Was surprised to see that Matsunaga survived as well. Date has some awesomely devoted soldiers. The version I watched had all the comercials left in for the games, soundtracks, and other stuff, it was pretty cool to see all that.

ARE YOU READY GUYS?
HURRY UP! BURNING UP! WE GO THERE! OKAY! BE ENTHUSIASTIC! PREPARE THE TRIGGER! Yeah episode 5 was fantastic. Best scene was probably Kenshin's super playboy way of getting of a horse. Even i felt my heart skip for a moment there. Did we find out what it says on Kojuurou's sword in the first season? I can't remember. Can't wait for one eyed pirate action next week!

Episode 5
A rather impressive episode with nice flashbacks of Date Masamune and Kojiro. Also this part was the best! Best and best of all episode!=>
Original for it was too big to show=> http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...3/b9830ecb.gif Other thoughts of episode. Like I said when Date prevented Kojiro from killing himself around this part=> http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...3/388a23a4.jpg that was nice! Rather impressive army of Kenshin here=> http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...3/cf9aa70e.jpg So was the army of Hideyoshi here=> http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...3/7c771eb8.jpg Nicely shown and a art in itself was the two birds on Date's helmet.....what kind were they again and what is the exact significance here=> http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...3/6408ae3d.jpg Loved this sequence here=> http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...3/6cb17eb9.jpg rather well done. Really nice serious talking here between Date and Kojiro=> http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...3/d7fb47f6.jpg felt some nostalgia. It was too bad in the end Maeda did not get to talk to Hideyoshi. I did like Motochika attacking the ships of Motonari with his Fugaku...always am O_O at the size of his one cannon. Well easy 10/10 for episode. Hope action starts more in the next episode. Also Want Kojiro back with Masamune! Really soon! |

I'm probably only scraping the surface of the significance here, but how I read it would be: "For Brahma to bless the soaring One-Eyed Dragon" As Brahma was the Buddhist deity of creation, Kojuurou probably inscribed the words to remind himself to assist Masamune in making the uniting of Japan a process of creation, rather than a process of destruction like what the Battle at Hitotoribashi was going to set the trend for if left continued. |

That was a really nice episode. I enjoyed the flashbacks, especially the second one where Kojuurou explained why he tried to kill himself earlier. Not really the reason I expected.

Episode 5 had the blood boiling. On top of it, Koujuru's nipple service didn't help the matter at all:
The reminiscence of the past between Masamune and Koujoru was very nice. Who could have predicted for a character development in this show about Sengoku era where the guns are blazing and English is spoken? I enjoyed the heck out of this episode.

Episode 5 was a nice set up for the all out fighting we are going to see in episode 6. In terms of Sengoku Basara it was fairly tame episode.
-Kensin truly is fearsome not only did he predict Date's moments but he also stalled him long enough for Masamune to calm down and for the majority of Hideyoshi's forces to be away from Osaka. Which may make it easier for them to rescue Kojuro. Loved how the missing sixth claw was bought to Kojuro and Masamune is using Kojuro's Katana as 6th at the moment its a perfect balance. Using Kojuro's sword is almost like having his left eye back again. When Hanbei presented the sword i half expected Kojuro to grab it and commit seppeku. Hanbei does not understand Kojuro's and Masamune's relationship at all. As his #1 retainer if Date were to fall Kojuro were not serve another lord he would end his life and follow his mater such was the way of Samurai. Hanbei's has made several mistakes so far by under estimating how far others will go win. Hanbei blind belief that Kojuro will follow Hideyoshi if Date is dead instead of killing him will come back to bite him in the ass. Hanbei does not want to face the combined forces of Date, Takada and Usegi and whoever else might rally to the cause. However Yukimura is late by stopping and helping everyone along the way i cant blame him for that but now he has to play catch up and will probably get the battlefield late. i cant wait to see how well Mori can fight? So Kasura Kenshin-sama-gasim can be seen by others in the form of a pink aura lol. The Date forces were probably like WTF was that. I did find it humorous that Kenshin picked up of her concern for Keiji Speaking of Keiji looks like a reunion between he and his sister next week. I wonder how that will fair with him beating the snot out of her husband. |
