The only thing that annoys me a bit is the break they are taking now...they should´ve made a break and bring out a one hour special when we had the Pain fight, not for some filler episodes.

Though, maybe they are just taking a break to get some rest...then I´d understand that, Pain arc was pretty much a lot of work...except for the badly animated episodes in between...

I found it ineresting how Iruka bacame Naruto´s teacher, its´s good that they still concentrate on characters that aren´t named Uzumaki or Uchiha.

Overall the filler is okay now, we had some epic moments.

Hope they´ll animate the Kage-summit nicely...don´t want to see 5 Pics per second scenes like the "Toads stab Pain for about 10 seconds".

Seriously, most of the recent filler episodes were better animated than some of the Pain invasion scenes and even parts of the Naruto fight...

They are taking a break for a pokemon special or whatever. The production never stops.

That's because most of the episodes during the Pain arc were outsourced to shitty animation studios. Pierrot's animators were working on the fourth movie. With episode 178 we've gone back to the regular rotation that alternates a good looking episode (done by Pierrot's own animators) with a mediocre episode (outsourced).

I noticed the overall better animation. At least it looked like it to me, not AMAZING, but pretty good. Does that mean peirrot did some of these Iruka eps?

176 and 177 were outsourced episodes, 178 was inhouse.
