I'm loving this series. I was feeling the ecchi would be more... Drastic, but it seems less blatant than I figured. I'm on episode 5, but am already deeply hooked.

The "inner" Jubbei sees, hears etc. anything the "outer" Juubei sees, hears etc. and lurks in the shadows of her mind, watching over everything and then coming to the outside and acting when she deems it neccessary.
The "outer" Juubei though seems to be unaware that the "inner" Juubei even exists in the first place, and has no access to the memories of her (what happens when the "inner" Jubei comes to the outside) either.

But notice the reversal of roles. The one whom I praised and they praised (Muneakira) is the one that people have a knee-jerk reaction to when they think of not having the alleged "necessary qualities". Meanwhile, the one who's more proactive and supposedly "manlier" is the one they were giving the smackdown to. If it is supposed to be a satirical statement, I don't think that's what it's being satirical towards.

Episode 10 was full of cheese. It's been a while since I last heard such a corny speech, but what the hell. It was still very enjoyable to watch and it's all that matters.

Naoe was hilarious as always, so many great jokes... And it felt so good to see her kick some ass for once. She's now officially part of the gang.

Wow... At first I thought "where do I start", but heck, I know where to start. That pre-op scene, oh man that is MY dream right there. Sandwiched by ponytails, with a twintail crawling up to me, man... if there is anyone fit to rid the world of Mune-guy, it would be me

to have Team Love soldier like that...

Still, such a fun episode. Everyone got their share of screentime, and Naoe-chan wins the comedy award again. See, she does have her smarts too, playing dead brought a big laugh out of me, and when she was crying, be patted on the head by Beta-chan (you're a mother now, Beta!), even thinking she's in hell because of the dark room, but the hammer being too big for the elevator, I LOL'ed a great lol. Saturn, I too thought she would have been able to go through if the hammer went vertical instead of horizontal, under and over style. But this is Naoe-chan, and this is what makes her fun

About Arta-chan's seemingly strange betrayal. I don't think it was weird at all, she looked like she really wants some general love, which Yoshi cruelly teased her of and never gave to her last ep. Bad man, Yoshi. Good girl, Arta-chan

the preview was funny too, it sounds like Arta-chan is either kuudere or yandere, I think more kuudere though

At least I know where that super effective Naoe-chan pic came from, in the previous page. I need 1080p BD now

They may not fit the definitions "manliness" people have in their head, they may be kind of dense, but compassion and kindness - that's where the real strength lies. Hearing that little verbal smackdown given to Yoshihiko was nice. Lots of espionage and action this week. Teamwork from everyone. Made for a thrilling week overall. I liked the battles in the mindspace too. I don't know what it is with me and metaphysical planes of reality, but something about them, that they're more symbolic than literal, has always had a certain je ne sai quois to me. And the last paragraph, as always, will be about Gutsugutsu stealing the show. Her attempt at "playing dead", believing she was in Hell, her inability to get through the door thanks to her oversized hammer...great stuff. Though she was actually somewhat useful too. When you can't find the stairs or an elevator, just destroy your way down. It works nearly as well!

Saturn Beaver Home of Silent Prayer Join Date: Mar 2010	Spoiler for Ep 10: Ahaha, that was a very enjoyable episode. Predictable perhaps, but still great mindless fun. This time, the pre-OP part is very delicious, if only there are no censors! Dammit, the uncensored version will take a long time to come out. Lucky bastard, looks like when Gisen is mind raping him, it could mean more than one thing Charlie is great here too, really, she's wasted on Sen's brother. Seeing the girls showing what they got, even if only defeating the mooks are cool too. But still, like all episode the star is still Gutsugutsu. The part where Beta knocks her out the first time, the part where she says give upx3 then the sound she makes just before she's knocked out...I really 'pull a Kirino' and listen to that part over and over again. Major props to her VA for that, and pretty much anything else, really. Playing dead, thinking she's dead, even proving she's not useless by making a pathway with that huge hammer of hers, only to be unable to enter the elevator because of that. (Is it just me, or it seems that she actually can put it in if she adjust it slightly? Well, it's Gutsugutsu...). Well, in the end, the speech is pretty nice, and now Muneakira and Jubei is finally awake. I really wish that Muneakira will be the one who delivers the punishment for Sen's brother next ep, hopefully... __________________

ars89 One-Eyed Dragon Join Date: Sep 2010 Location: NJ, USA	Spoiler for ep 10: the pre-op was just too funny, what better way to get to know them, so Yoshihiko's project is codenamed Inazami or is that another project, nice job of Yuki and Sen trying to save Muneakira from his mind control, good teamwork by everyone, Naoe even helped this time, she was as funny as usual, so Gisen looses control over Muneakira thanks to Sen and Yukimura, but he did display the MS aura so maybe he will be useful in the future and actually do something, he seemd changed when he woke up, Nia questions Yoshihiko as her general and betrays him, so i'm guessing she'll join Muneakira and the rest, luckily he woke up in time to save Jubei, so next ep more Dark Jubei finally __________________ My Anime List
