During the the final blow between Sasuke and Naruto, I think Naruto held back because he couldn't do it and was surprised that Sasuke was willing to kill him, so Naruto made a mark on his forehead protector as a symbol of "it's over." I'm sure Sasuke realized that too, that's why his final blow was turn down a notch, even though it did hit Naruto.

I like to see how the story is going to progress, the best scenario is Sasuke and Naruto battling it out again a few years later, but to the death for real this time. One of them needs to die to prove they were right, that they chose the right path, meaning: Sasuke: "I don't need anyone to be strong" and Naruto: "You need others to help you become strong." Either one can win, it doesn't matter, I like the subcharacters more than the main one's.

The whole Naruto Rasnegan vs Sasuke Lvl 2 Chidori was debated to exhaustion. I believe that It was a coincidence just because Sasuke's Chidori took the inside route thus hitting Naruto before naruto could hit sasuke w/ the rasengan.

As far as your Naruto vs. Sasuke fight. Regardless of who wins in that fight, Naruto "you need others to help you become strong" but hey I just killed you in this fight so I guess you are right. I really dont need you. That seems like a more plausible result from the scenarios you depicted.
