btw in that fanservice shots. Is the IS allowed to be partially transform? I thought that when its summon or release it's a full blown suit. But that's only the sword and ... what a laser beam?

Yes, IS can be called up in parts, and there are a few instances where various characters do that.

Partial call-ups require a little bit of getting used to, but it seems partial call-up is much faster than complete call-up once the pilot gets the hang of it.

well if it's a partial transformation then it wouldn't lead to lots of sequence. I wonder how would they do that in the anime.

me? windows media player or classic media player. Well it's all comes down to a good codec to play a movie. If you had a good player but useless codec then it's useless.

Infinite Stratos manga previews (Love the whole Urban style of the IS Cast image), I have just ordered manga recently, will get on Saturday/Sunday on the same week the anime premieres.

Although for those who want to see Laura and Charlotte, they haven't appeared yet, most likely in Volume 2

Looking at that pic brings me back to a old question about this series and that was why don't they wear helmets but an obvious answer would be they have force shields/deflectors or whatever.
Now it's why do the girls not have their hair tied up, cause I may be the only person to think this but isn't there a good chance their hair will caught in their suits?
Again it's not a serious question, as this is anime but one that you just have to ask and wonder about just for the sake of it

They wear a helmet when in space or something similar but for the most part, the shields provide protection for them and Absolute Barriers act as a pilot defense. And Ichika's well armored in the Byaku Shiki as shown in one of the comics
