Within one story, there lies a million smaller stories.
Sakurai does not know Takasaki's story. Mio does not know Nano's story. Nano does not know Yuuko's story about Mio's story. Everyone knows the Grim Reaper's story. Nobody knows the Gentleman's story. With cursory appearances from the King of Hyrule, a wooden block voiced by Norio Wakamoto, and last year's lottery tickets, these stories spin around in this city. Darting between them a capella, a never ending whirlwind of wonderment. Now, there are plenty more stories waiting. Press forward, to that future! (Less of a review and more a monologue from a visual novel, I know. It's a theatrical thing that comes over me with irregular frequency.) |

Oh and, NORIO WAKAMOTO IS IN THIS EPISODE! THIS IS OFFICIALLY GOD'S FAVOURITE ANIME!

What a weird way to start off an episode, though as soon as I saw the wooden cubes I pretty much immediately guessed it was gonna be a joke on Mio's hair-ties.
Not the funniest episode compared to some previous ones, but it seems to have made some developments, such as showing us Nano's key CAN be taken off, which could mean that she has a good chance of becoming a student at the high-school which the ending of this episode hints to even more. I don't recall any wooden cubes speaking. Must have been easily miss-able. Dunno why it's such a big deal who this seiyuu is either.

Nope. Usually once the ED starts I'm done watching. Applies to pretty much everything I watch, not just this.
I dislike it when they put important scenes after the credits.

Bwahaha. The episode cracked me up with the short jokes; Rock-Paper-Scissors and rope skipping were very good.
Yeah, this episode seems to be quite different from the previous ones. The fantasy part stands out with new characters and darker colors. No OP too (last one didn't have an ED). This episode seems to show character development more than to actually tell jokes. With: Spoiler for Episode 7:
Indeed less good than the previous ones (especially 5 and 6) because they spent too much time on the above.

Didn't really enjoy this as much as the past few episodes but what gives. They are going overboard with their experimentation on this one and it's not a bad thing imo.
And the wooden cube talking with that epic voice at the end was definitely the highlight this time around. |

Not just that, he is very hardcore. He went to one of the highest ranked university (Wasada University - law), and worked as RIOT POLICE for once. He has Shaolin Martial Art 3rd-dan, Kendo 2nd-dan.... etc etc.

I guess I should start watching after the ED, I don't like looking at previews for next episodes, so I always skip it.
Liked this episode a lot. Really laid back, and it seems a semblance of, I dunno, story, is starting to work it's way into the show.

The first segment just made me going wtf , though I laughed pretty hard at the soldier's reactions and of course of actions after their evil leader suddenly died , and I didn't see the reference to what Mio wears until it hit her . Though the part with Sakurai-sensei and the other teacher was definitely the most funny part of the episode, well that and Mio's onee-chan's interactions with Nano . Though wasn't quite as good as the previous episode in terms of comedy.
