Hmm ... personally did not think this episode to be outrageously good, but it was good. And Kaoru's artistic camera angles that she mentioned did not bother me at all. I actually did not even notice them!
7/10 vote from me for this ep. BTW Pellissier - your new avatar definitely made me giggle. Well done!

To say the truth, Shaft may push too far on the cuteness approach at this rate...
The characters were so adorable in the first four episodes and i expected all of us enjoyed that. But then this cuteness appear too frequently, that now i wish the girls will show some interesting expressions, rather than just look cute with that sparkling smiling face

Quite interesting interaction, with Ryuushiko becoming more active and trying to get Makoto to notice her.
I wonder how Makoto would react if Ryuuko gave him her panties... or even better, Maekawa Quote:
He's just smart enough to not hide his porn stash not in the most obvious location (under his bed) but somewhere else. Yes, most likely, but he wanted to make a good impression on the two girls.

Neat, Makoto and his harem together for the first time. Really funny scenes, hoping for more of that in upcoming episodes, especially more interaction between the females.
Also lol at Makoto and his line about older people being able to read minds "Of course not, BWAAAAAAKA" |

I've been stewing on this series for five episodes and this has bubbled up:
1) The editing, scene cuts, and camera angles remind me of Bakemonogatari (as do some of the character interactions). This is not a bad thing... a bit of Bakemono-lite. 2) I like the lead (mostly) -- he's fairly analytical and doesn't leap to dumbass judgements. His dry observations with occasional "what the hell?" moments are fairly mature. 3) Varied reactions to the various "girls that he encounters" ... Miss "tall and weak" (Maekawa) is the most fascinating to me so far though obviously the attention is on Little Moon Unit (Erio). Ryuuko is okay but seems a bit pasted from Toradora! (Minorin). 4) Meme... getting some Key sexy mom vibes (AIR, Kanon, etc) but she's eccentric and luscious. Her treatment of Moon-Unit (Erio) makes more sense when the utter frustration is taken into context. I'll readily admit I have a LOT of trouble listening to the OP.... for reasons similar to the OP of Honey&Clover :P otoh, the ED tune is very sweet/precious/cute. Not life-changing but fun to watch so far.

The OP works for this anime, but I don't think it would work for much else, and it's not something I'd want to watch all on its own.
Basically it's really cute voice just rhyming off the lyrics over insanely moe scenes is perfect for getting one ready to watch this anime.
