Well, everything after that would just be gravy soaked in honey. And if her and Yui were to ever have scenes together, my mind might just explode from overload of awesome.

Of course I don't want Rin to just end up a carbon copy tsundere of Yui if she joins, but still

Rin is almost like a doppelganger of Yui. If they show up side by side, with her hair down, you might think they're twins. Not like that's a bad thing of course.

last chapter with oshizu or whatever her name is, when she was first shown in the shower i thought it was rin. without her hair in that style she does it up in, she looks exactly like rin imo.

It'd be more accurate to say Yui is a doppelganger of Rin.

I liked this chapter, not only because Rin is the hottest TLR girl or because Mikan is the cutest little sister ever, but because there was a lot of development for Momo. I'll be honest by saying I'd have thought Momo wouldn't have had problems with a kiss while Rito was sleeping, but this chapter made me rethink a lot of things about her. Her actions while Rito tried to kiss her when he was sleeping and the fact she really hopes he'll develop real feelings for her one day, makes me realise that Momo is truly in love with Rito.

Yui joined the cast pretty late about chapter 50ish, Rin about 30 chapters before that.

Sure, I imagine Rin has some dere tendencies, but I hope Yabuki doesn't make them too similar to Yui. I'd like some differentiation there. After all, Rin is definitely more badass than Yui, definitely stronger than all the other human cast (scene just flashed in my mind: Rin trying and failing to teach Yui kendo to better protect Rito like Lala and Momo can; doubt it'll happen but love thinking about it

), and in my opinion she seems less likely to be so anxious and visibly flustered over those emotions that toy with Yui's heart to our great enjoyment. I think that should be kept in mind if Yabuki decides to develop her character further.

In the official data book color page she is. Right above Yui actually.

Yeah, the way I figured it out was that Saki made her appearance in Vol. 3 (that also means intro for Rin & Aya) while Yui appeared like in Vol. 6.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. I've always seen Yui as the grown-up version of Mikan.

I don't think Rin and Yui look that much alike though. They're just both super hot brunettes. Their faces are clearly different.
