so, I heard people keep comparing Deadmaster to a Necron from 40k... but I have no idea what a Necron is.

Anybody knows why the comparison?

Depends, at my cousin's funeral there was this custom to dress female unmarried minors in wedding gowns... so despite the grimness, it merges both cases

Anyway, has there been any news about Insane at all? I know they had that giant poster of her with an updated look from the anime, and her figma is being sold along with the Bluray, but anything beyond that?

well, I can think of 2 scenarios.

1: Yomi gets violent towards Mato in the same way Dead is to Rock, prompting that scene.

2: Rock and Mato deal with Dead and Yomi in a way Saya didn't want to, and instead of just waiting and plotting, Saya has had enough and instead tries to deal with Mato directly

I absolutely love the OVA, and loves the Other World fighting as well....

But isn't the real world playing too over-dramatic now? I means it was kinda forced especially with Yomi going full emo. Like the director was going: "Here, intern kid, direct these screen as i mentioned. Too busy over here with the fighting screen".

I thought Yomi supposed to be just like the OVA, start to distant herself, avoid everyone when not necessary and keep everything to herself. While Kagari will still be an obsessive yandere, just less forceful and crazily anti-social. I really want my creepy yandere Kagari back, she's so weird now. She really changed 180 degrees after 'being killed' by BRS (surprisingly she was tall). I hope there is a good reason for this (and there is some indicator on this, as she kinda forgot what happened early on)

OVA Yomi and Anime Yomi CANNOT have the same personality. Their lives were clearly different, and their relationships to other people are what make them what they are. In the OVA Yomi never connected to others so she clung to the first person who tried to connect with her, doing things like joining the volleyball team so she can at least see Mato. While in the anime she had a parasitic relationship with Kagari which made her develop a psychological need to have other people depend on her to determine her worth in life. Yomi didn't "go emo", she just lost the last shreds that kept her sane, which has been going for quite a few episodes, which makes me wonder how could people miss that.

Kagari's change is explained as the same reason Kohata forgot the guy she loved, the difference being that one spans years and the other just a short period of time.
