Has the orange haired girl the guy tried to burrow a dvd from show up before?
Didn't like any of Hidenori's skits this episode, the first 3 with him wasn't interesting for me. The situation was good, but didn't like his reactions.

The imouto one was good though. Laughed when they resolved to throwing things at it, and it turns out they used their own bags to throw and they got trapped in the tree as well.

The bee one was gross..

Mei sure is a monster. Being able to support the weight of two guys like that is no small feat. Also, the bee scene was just funny, and yet sick at the same time. XD

The last two skits after the credits was probably my favorite. Nago kinda lost some weight for some reason. It was also hilarious to see the girls panic when it turned out the older brother brought his friends home as well.

I wrote this in a hurry this morning, so I would elaborate what I meant here, plus a few character observations.

While Hidenori always came up as a bit of an oddball, his oddness has always been within his circle of friends, and is usually of the "slightly odd but not totally weird" kind.

So that night he climbed to his neighbour's balcony, pestered her for half an hour, and was beaten out of the balcony. Is that girl really his love interest?

As for Cakes, his three wishes are, in order:

Wetting himself for once;
Eating a cake, and
Being thrown a cream pie at.

The first wish is odd enough, but the second and third wishes are completely contradictory... which made me wonder if there's some kind of internal conflict in him?

Also, turn to Yanagin. I mentioned in episode 6 that she has been lying (claiming to wear glasses for vision purposes despite spending the whole skit without). Today we see her lying as much as possible to find something stronger than this Nago, as if she's hiding some insecurities or something... Also note she and Ikushima (who IMO is the most boy-crazy of the group) would believe in sempai's ridiculous recommendation. Habara cops out.

I was really happy to see some much focus of Hidenori this week, as he is one of my favorite characters in the series. The bee skit made my squirm, though. X.x

I kinda felt like I forced myself to laugh a bit in this week's episode. I wonder if it's me trying to predict what'll happen in each skit that diminished my enjoyment of this episode(even though they're mostly wrong). The skit where Mei got her bag stuck on a branch was pretty good though.

I seriously thought that we were seeing a completely different Nago in this week's Highschool Girls Are Funky(which was freaking hilarious!)

Finally got around to watching episode 8.

Was Mitsuo devastated by the fact that his parents found his porn collection...or that he'll never see his porn ever again?

Either way, I can't say he overreacted...I can't say he underreacted... so i'll just say that he did the right thing by sitting on a swing for 4 hours XD

I noiced during the sponsers screen, it said at the top "We don't even know Tadakuni's last name. But it doesn't bother us". Shows how much they care about him in this anime

I laughed at Hidenori outburst towards Yoshitake when he criticised his manga

So much for being able to take criticism

And then his attempt to mimic a manga with the balconies was also great

The scene with the bags in the tree definately made me laugh a lot. Man I love this anime.

You reminded me of how all-boys' schools are colloquially compared to monasteries. In that way, we may say Karasawa is ordained because of this...
