I'm surprised that AMG has a very late night time slot in Japan. I thought this is one of the classics. Or is it more popular in the rest of the world than in Japan? Everybody will be setting their DVRs, I guess.

Regarding the promo, some things about it weren't as I imagined, but I guess 20 seconds isn't enough to come to a definitive conclusion.

I think the drawing is definitively different from the manga, OAV and the movie. I have watched them all, it's almost like the movie and the lastest manga but it's not really the same, the eyes of Belldandy are too high on the face. Except that, it's ok

You guys, I do believe they are supposed to follow the manga very closely. And from what I see of the manga, there is enough information in one chapter to make one episodes. Skuld doesn't appear until around chapter 35-40, so it'll take a while before they have her show up.

I hope that they will conclude the manga soon. I've been a huge - really huge - A!MG fan up to manga volume 20. But recently, the manga isn't progressing, it's clearly REGRESSING. There are no lasting developments anymore. Belldandy and Keiichi were closer in volume 3 than they are now in volume 29. And frankly, I'm growing bored.

I pray that they will use the anime as a way to FINISH the main storyline. I'm afraid that they won't, but they should.

Uh, I'm 100% sure Belldandy has always had the same seiyuu, and I don't think she really needed one for the manga...

As for dubs, well really, who cares about them?

Anyone who tries to compete with Inoue Kikuko pretty much loses automatically.

25 and 26 are out. I loved these episodes, they are now one of my most favorite of the series. Don't miss them!

Well, Kodansha and AnimeWorks have already released the Series box, which is big enough for 6 DVDs - and Volume 4 is due out March 28th (eps. 15-18). You'll probably have to wait until July for Volume 6.

I've heard a rumor about an Ah! My Goddess Christmas special coming out. Anybody hear anything about this?

No idea. Latest word I've heard on any AMG projects was the addition of the second season (and that's been weeks ago). I would think a Xmas special release would have been mentioned more. But then I miss a lot of info even shows I like.

Yup, it's known as the AMG Special DVD. Comes with two new episodes plus the special that aired on TV.

hell... i thought AMG was an old old series... so i wen and did a search found episode 1-26 and i finished them...

came to this forum and theres gonna be an season 2??! wth and here i was hoping to be able to watch the entire series in one go...

any idea when this season 2 is going to air?

and is 25-26 part of season 2?

thought i would try few different anime while taking filler break from naruto, and junk from GSD

finished Turn A (damn it was good)

just started AMG 3 days ago... thought it would be 1-24, then found out there is 25-26 today.. now hear that there is a season 2.... how much longer i gotta wait!

Spoiler for episode 25 screen caps: Everything is back to normal but the Yggdrasil is still malfunctioned so Urd turns into a kid. So she goes on her own little adventure and meets this boy. Through their friendship the boy falls in love with Urd. It's a really sweet episode because we can see Urd's loving side. Spoiler for episode 26 screen caps: Where Urd turns into a kid, Skuld turns into an adult. Skuld experiences the vice and virtues of being an adult, and she evens falls in love with Kei-chan, unbelievable :O. Skuld in adult form can give even Belldandy a run for her money. j/k I don't want to spoil everything so go watch them yourselves!
