You know what I mean @monster. "If", didn't say "will", the movie ever comes out then it will be the finale for the Seed/Destiny characters.

It could be, or it might lead into another sequel, or even a spin-off. We don't really know.

Nope. Maybe for other or new characters but not the Seed/Destiny ones.

I'm not expecting anything. Like I said, we don't even know if there's even going to be a sequel to Destiny. But if there was, it certainly doesn't mean it has to be the last one for the core characters in SEED/Destiny.

I'm saying it's not a certainty either way. What I want is irrelevant and not what I was talking about.

Remember they've ended two bloody wars in only 4 years. Keeping it up like that is gonna start looking suspect, and as it was the flaring up so easily in Destiny was a stretch.

Not only that but if the wars keep coming its gonna make it look like Kira and co stopping Durandal wasn't such a good idea after all.

Exactly. Unless people want them to run these characters into the freaking ground.

Shinn was the protagonist the whole show, Kira was the antagonist. I never understood why people thought otherwise. Do people think Char became the protagonist over Amuro? Man has more agency and screen time than Kira does...

Probably because Kira took the center shot with Strike Freedom and got promoted to the top of the voice cast credits.

In addition to him essentially becoming the good guy while Shinn started supporting the Destruction of Orb and the Destiny Plan being enforced with space lasers.

Any half-baked hack of a writer can claim that Shinn was "still the protagonist", but the depiction of the show says otherwise. He was no longer the protagonist in the spirit of the term. For all intents and purposes, after Kira came back into the picture and the show focused on him, Shinn's actions were that of an antagonist, not a protagonist. Kira had become the protagonist.

A sequel obviously doesn't have to take place that soon in the timeline.

Only in the final two episodes and Final Plus.

For the TV Movies, Athrun got top billing, followed by Shinn, and Kira was billed third, due to the fact that it was recapping the series from Athrun's perspective.

Blame Neo? Why?
It's his job to destroy the Minerva. And he can use whatever tactics he wants. In this particular battle, it seems to me his real mission was to gather data on the Impulse and the new Saviour. He succeeded in doing that.

And I'm not "blaming" Shinn for who he is in this episode. I understand his character. He does whatever he wants on the battlefield and he is very good at it. So good in fact that sometimes his recklessness actually has a positive outcome for the Minerva, but it this case it didn't. I'm just pointing out the consequences of his (in this case) unnecessary actions and how it justifies Athrun's bitch slap.

btw, your posts are hard to read, I hope I got it right.

That can apply to the Han/Greedo edit as well; no matter who shot first, Greedo still dies.

There's also a difference between Kira swinging his sword at Nicol in self-defense and Nicol running into Kira's sword.

It doesn't really matter when the intent was still there either way. Since he still went out his way to set the sword up the intent to get Nicole was still there, but instead of being the enforcer and swinging it at Nicole he let Nicole run into. Maybe you don't like how it happened, but Kira still had to duck, step back and set the sword up for Nicole to run into anyway. So the intent was still there you just don't like the execution.

And why did you scavenge through this thread to respond to a post that was like over a week ago? Not attacking you, but I think you try a little too hard when it comes to Kira.
