Just to clarify, adding Friend Codes does not increase your villager count.

You mean to say people didn't abuse the 20 villager exploit in the demo?

Holy crap that was such a huge headstart, especially when you can start affording the Lu Bu Spears, Grinder Axes, and the Mutsu-no-kamis. With spear lore and katana lore so low on the tech tree, you can easily pretty much make ANYONE with ANY JOB a physical, crescent moon sweeping powerhouse. XD

Sure I have 50 villagers now with a completed Norende, but the rest of the village wasn't as game breaking as rushing towards the weapon shop so early (red hats in armorer is also pretty sweet just for the AGI bonus).

On my status:
Nearing the end of Ch 3. Just beat the Fire Crystal boss (WTF at this guy...) after going through a fairly long dungeon. Everyone is roughly around their mid 40's now.

This why I had avoided upgrading the equipment shops save for accessories. The Norende stuff is just way too powerful until mid to late game or so I hear. Not to mention very expensive and until recently I've been pretty poor.

I focused my workers on Special Moves (with parts of course), the Item Trader and Combat items.

How did that even work? I probably won't be getting the main game for at least another 2 months due to work, but I can easily screw around on the demo for a while.

Your villager data is kept separately from your game progress in the demo.

In the demo, there is a NPC that gives you one extra villager. Therefore, all you have to do is talk to him, get the villager, then reload without saving. You keep the extra villager, and you can still talk to the NPC for another villager.

Rinse repeat until you have the maximum.

How do you go about reloading without quitting back to the screen (and thus using one of the 30 uses)?

In the same save menu whether it be through the adventurer in town or in the over world map there is the last option of return to title screen

Does the Merchant's Takeover still do 300 damage to you? I hear it was weakened for the player, but I have not heard anything about the boss.

It goes up to 2000 in later chapters.

Well I've pretty much just no lifed this game through this past week and level capped all the jobs, fought/stole items on all the asterisk bosses. But now I'm too lazy to reach the 999k Cap on Bravely Second. Could only reach 105k on normal buffs sadly.

Anyways I have a serious question about the ending.

Now, I'm farming exp. in Gaap keep. Equip everyone with Sage staff and spam [Arise] on enemy. lol

The developers left some plot points unanswered purposely. Eventually those will be addressed in the upcoming sequel.

My Bravely Default Exp/JP/Money grind method = Witherwood Ch.6 beside Adventurer Save Point, Obliterate Ability, Braved Double Crescent Moon Party Spam, 400%+ Encounter rate (+200% ER bar, alarm bangle, Freelancer Ability), + Party - Enemy First strike, More Money ability. = Stuff falls from the sky.

You can adjust the drops with the Growth or Golden Egg too.

Even with this it took me 2 hours or so to level cap all the jobs tho D:

Yeah, I know Bravely Second will answer them. I just can't wait because I can't help but ship the obvious OTP's. Except the whole Agnes x Crystals marriage ROTFL

Spoiler for Stuff about Ringabel and Tiz: So in both the false and true ending we see Ringabel leave a flower on the deck of the Grandship (Signifying the loss of his world's party) and in the True ending we see him deciding to fight Airy instead of becoming frozen with fear. Does this mean that he developed the power to go back in time? (Akin to the implied way Agnes did to warn Lord DeRosso and Yuruyana in the False ending) Still if so, this ending disappoints me as it truly discounts his quite long journey and experiences with the Warriors of Light. You've seen him grow as time went on in the game and he/Edea did become closer over time. So simply abandoning that experience and saving his world's team is just grating for me. But that's just an interpretation since we do see in Ringabel's journal that he was with Egil, Edea and Agnes when they found Tiz in a coma near Til's grave. Also, knowing that you, the player and Airy's sister has been providing the life force to keep Tiz's corpse going is quite creepy. XD But kinda fun in a dark way. Personally, I would have preferred the Warriors of Light to have taken the Yulyana option where they replace their dead counterparts in the Ch. 6 World.
