Episode 22 was so intense, I was leaning back against my chair the whole time.
That ending though, just when I thought all the cool stuff was over, Fight Club Mako is back. Too bad its the 2* though, I think she earned her way to 3* like the rest of elite 4. I like how they keep reinforcing Gamagoori x Mako. The dinner scene. Look at Goori's food, and him staring at Mako. XFD. Spoiler for dinner:

I thought Iori was a 2-Star but he was actually 3? Considering his relationship with Satsuki and Elite Four I am not surprised though.
And yeah this episode was truly heart warming and I am glad the sisters have bonded and I hope it doesn't break because Satsuki had another plan in mind which makes them go in conflict again D:.... |

This was such a great episode. It was great seeing Satsuki unwind a little. Her scenes with Ryuuko were great as well.
Plus, any episode with Fight Club Captain Mankanshoku Mako is automatically brilliant.

Nui's true nature finally shows itself. I'm amazed she can still create Shinra-Koketsu even without arms.
Glad to see Mako's not done fighting either. Huzzah for the return of the banchou uniform! The setup for the final showdown is complete. So damn excited for next week.~

Mako returns with her banchou uniform! HELL YEAH! Really gave up any hope for that one. Can't wait for next week!

I can't say enough about the supporting cast of this show. I'm glad my worries about the DBZ effect were completely shattered. They're truly fantastic and Trigger has done a fantastic job of ensuring they've been anything but sidelined this whole time.

What a wonderful episode though. All of it comes to a head here, and I think the character development really pays off. That was some truly heartwarming stuff. Ryuko trying to call Satsuki "sister" was downright adorable. My only criticism was that this is the first time I've really noticed the budget saving, because they didn't try to hide it. Saving it for an episode like this is smart though, since it doesn't need the effort in my opinion. Hopefully this means the final two episodes go all out. I want our Fight Club President to look her best!

Satsuki is just so much better character than Ryuuko in just about every single way. In a way, this whole show sometimes feel more about her character development instead. It certainly comes about much more natural than Ryuuko. Such a shame she set up so much death flags this episode.
And yes, Bancho Mako is back in action! |

And here I thought the 2 stars completely vanished. Glad to see them aboard the naked-sun. Iori who is apparently a 3-star now melted my face (that transformation scene...that manly scream)
Everything was just right. It's been a long time since I had a big goofy grin on my face while watching an anime. |

Fight Club Mako is BACK, Ryuuko gets to dual-wield the Scissor Blades, and Ryuuko tried to call Satsuki onee-chan. Highlights of the episode right there.
Seriously, though. There were too many great heartwarming moments between the characters. All that talk of incomprehensibility made this so great. COVERS now reminds me way too much of Quat Nevas from Psyren. An alien who devours planets as an energy source and moves on to the next one. And the Original Life Fiber is playing the role of Sankt Kaiser's Cradle. Dem parallels. Still a 10/10 episode, though. Ditto to that.

Sooooooo......
Harime gets her ass royally handed to her (I nearly died when Ryuko started stomping on her arms) Ryuuko puts Senketsu on and waterworks ensue Dual wield Scissor Blades "N..n...nee-s..." *Epic Nosebleed* Oh the nakamaness (eat your heart out Fairy Tail, this is how its done) Elite Four antics, more Gamagoori-Mako shipping (didn't notice till HandOfFate pointed it out) Satsuki ignoring being called a nudist (why was this so funny?) And finally, MAKO GOT HER UNIFORM BACK!!!!! 10/10, I loved it all

highly disagree...Ryuko's character development was much more shown while Satsuki came very late in th series...Ryuko might have been a bit cliche(avenger to hero to villain and back to hero) but it felt a lot more natural than Satsuki. We saw what she went through..we saw her thoughts and what she wanted ..we saw her try to self improve and did it.. We see her fall/get corrupted but overcome.. I can't see how Satsuki's the better character..She's a good character but I can't say she's technically better
