Surprisingly the right side of old BigBoss's forehead doesn't have wrinkles or scars, it's pretty much a skin graft.

Well... assuming Big Boss knows that Skullface is behind pretty much all of his problems and sorrows right now... I'd hope that's no the case....

Think maybe Big Boss was captured by them, and Skullface (being the cartoon villian he is) is showing off his everything to him.... though, looking at Big Boss... he's still got his rifles.... so can't be sure~

His body was incinerated by Solid Snake in the end of MG2, so they have to reconstruct almost everything for MGS4 Big Boss.

So his codename is now Venom Snake instead of Punished Snake, huh?
Some screenshots. Not only the new base looks like big shell, it even has that cypher drone.

Well in the illustration he still looks the same as BigBoss in MGS4

I'm guessing the first Metal Gear he still looked like the one we see in Phantom Pain, but later on he looks like that, what we know now.

Venom Snake is a much better codename than "Punished Snake" imho.

Not all the games are made in chronological order and as time goes by, the developers have new ideas etc... hence the inconsistencies in the styling. IIRC there was also a pic of Big Boss with the wrong location of his eyepatch in one of the earlier games

and for this MGSV, they added new details like him missing his left arm, while in the subsequent games (chronologically) his body seems fully intact (from his full-body MGS1 illustration). Although to be fair, his whole body was covered as he wears a similar clothing as his appearance in MGS4 so we never whether his left arm is the original or not.

The same thing goes for Miller in MGS1. From his full-body illustration, he doesn't seem to lost a limb or two, right? IIRC his appearance changed drastically from MG1 to MG2 too. From Asian into Caucasian (don't really remember)

As stated before, the demo is pretty much an extended look at the E3 trailer from last year. It starts with Big Boss and Ocelot. It is stated that this segment takes place relatively soon after Snake wakes up from his coma. At one point, Ocelot hands Snake a canteen of water, but Snake struggles to grasp it since he's still getting used to his mechanical arm.

Ocelot tells Snake that he has three days to rescue Miller, else they'll lose sight of those who destroyed Mother Base. After Ocelot tells Snake "Now go, Let the legend come back to life", Ocelot returns to the new Mother Base to provide Snake with Intel via radio and oversee the development of the new Mother Base. He does hand Snake Miller's sunglasses before he leaves though.

"Your horse will defecate. That's a feature."

That percentage we saw in the C-Box video Kojima showed last week? That's the success rate of the Fulton extraction. Under normal conditions, the success rate is 80%. You can also extract yourself via Fulton recovery. Just hop on top of a storage container, use the Fulton Recovery system and you'll be back in Mother Base. That is if the extraction was successful of course, otherwise you'd die.

You'll get feedback on whether the Fulton extraction was successful or not after a minute, and depending on that, you'll receive GMP, which you'll use to upgrade Mother Base and order airdrops.

Knocking works interestingly this time around. "Snake spins his prosthetic hand at the wrist, which emits sparks and a series of audible clicks and clacks. You no longer need a wall to knock. "

The E-Cig emits fake, holographic smoke. When you use it to pass the time, you can use your iDriod to learn the enemies patterns as they move around.

Eventually, Snake finds a document on Kaz's whereabouts, and scans it with the iDriod and sends it to Ocelot at Mother Base.

The demo ended back at Mother Base. Snake was walking around only for the base to suddenly come under attack. The demo ended there as Snake hopped into a chopper and took off.

^Wow! So that's the 30 minute demo. Hope there are more secrets another other interesting stuff to do in Afganistan because you only rescued Miller and it took the demo 30 minutes.

So livestock in MGSV The Phantom Pain rots? COOL!
Also the fake arm will be Venom Snake's way to distract guards? Man knocking on walls is still the best imho. Glad now there is a percentage on the fulton recovery, unlike in Peace Walker 100% you can recruit soldiers and get them.

I hope there is a torture device at mother base where we can torture soldiers who rebel against BigBoss. Join us or die!

Judging by the trailers, I think it'll be implemented. I'm thinking it might be an extension of the "brig" feature in MGSPW in order to "tame" the hostile recruits
