There shouldn't be any problem with air superiority before the boss if you take the southeast path.
But I gave up trying to do that for the boss. It's simply not feasible without completely killing your CVL's damage output.

Makes sense. Without a BB for second shelling, damage output is cut. So just 1 reppu each CVL for artillery spotting then.

I've been watching that stream. Kitakami destroys absolutely everything regardless of game and form.

E3 cleared:

Very easy map, which is understandable considering that it's the first map you get to use the new combined fleet mechanic.

Just spam diamond formation (bottom left) all the way until boss, during which you use battle formation (bottom right).

The only thing that makes this map take so long is because of how often you get B ranks on the way, and fatigue adds up really quickly because of that.

Gonna be calling it a night, good luck fellow teitokus!

No matter how i look it this event doesn't feel very friendly and accessible if even the first map is that hard.

I'm bailing until the situation changes.I knew what the devs were saying was right!

Scouting party just wrecked hard like this at the first node .It's definitely not for newbies or kuso teitokus who haven't prepared well enough.

Actually, that's still not the worst part of that map. You're just going to fight against RNG with that sub, but the Night Battle node is the object of nightmares (and forlorn resource warehouses!). XD

Still not jumping in until I have 50k ammo or something. By then, hopefully map mechanics have been fully figured out.

Nemesis: Max sparkle(85-100%). That's the only advice I can give at this point.

First map off and it's absolute rubbish. I have spent close to 40 buckets without ever touching the boss node. This is crazy.

Already decided on how to split my team but it isn't working all that well so far. Saving my stronger ships for MI.

I go with antisub formation for first node then used echelon for night ( mare ) node
it will lessen the damage ( but still succesfully made my kanmusu orange )
after that I dunno
still cant reach boss node =_=
