I got Akashi as a drop when I cleared E5. Been doing E4 for Akitsumaru for the last 3 days. Getting trolled by RNG goddess atm.

Ooh, neat. That'll be good, even though I kind of wonder why it wasn't in place before. I know for me at least, Oyodo's likely never getting used after this event, unless I really, really need to kill some submarines for some reason.

She is usable to meet LoS requirements. I wouldn't necessary field her for 2-5 though, since I could just rely on the Tones for the LoS check.

LOL What, they're giving her a new Kai sprite? Looks like things were rushed in that regard.

Well it could be worse: we could have been told that they're adding a new Ship girl during the last week, and then say that she only drops in the boss node of E-6.

Question: DO I have to get Northern's HP to zero during combat? Cause even with 2 support fleets the closest I've got didn't get past 50..

I only got 1, and I don't dare equip it since I don't think I'll have enough LoS to reach the boss (With CAs sticking 2 planes, Hiyou with Saiun and Junyou got Air Radar my LOS total to around 250). I got no radar either T_T

You're not gonna win without at least one. Probably 2. You can keep slamming your head against it and maybe you'll get lucky, but it's going to be really tough.

You really need 4 Saiuns. E-2 is a rough level.

Yes. Yahagi was added a week before the Fall 2013 event ended, at the FINAL map.

It's impossible this time. I means I don't think any of us have actually got an S rank at E-6 boss node.

I have gotten s-rank there, twice, but those happened before the final clear, so there's only 1 BB hime. I cannot score S rank on 2 of them, period.

idk who to get lol...was thinking taigei...hmm the only good thing i got from all was nagato at E-5 i already had a mutsu(even though got her again on E-5)on my very 1st LSC lol

Finally E4 have been cleared!

Subs hated Poi for some reason, they got her to yellow in the initial torpedo salvo then ALL of them aimed at her in the final torpedo salvo, and it did nothing to her. Done with sub node, I pray for not compass trolling. And thanks god it did not happen, because I have sent a third fleet for anti-boss assist duty. And the ride went a little okay, some girls getting damaged in the pre-boss node while not sinking a single enemy. But thanks god, your ability to make it to the next node is not determined by your battle performance...

Then comes the final battle, and Haguro got sent to orange on the first wave. Hurray... Assist came and killed two escorts while damaging the boss a little, something like 50 damage. Any damage is good. Ensued a agonizing battle where Hiei got sent to red, rendered pretty useless for anything other than the occasional 20 to 30 dmg if she managed to land a hit. This is where the carrier girls did most of the work, slowly whittling the boss' health bar down to 250. Then Kongou double tapped, like 60 and 70. Night battle came, I decided to cue Muv-Luv Alternative's OP to motivate myself. I watch Beaver, Shigure and Poi barely doing like 10, 20, 15 damage. Then Haguro decided to she wanted to get the fuck out of this map and delivered the killer blow. Done with E4. Time to gather my fuel!

Killer blows for delivered by

- Sounyuu (1)
- Akagi (1)
- Haguro (the rest)

Drops were:

(bolded are those I never got before)

- Hamakaze
- Zuihou
- Hiryuu
- Hayashimo

It could have been a smooth ride if it was not for subtrolling (twice), compass trolling (twice) and Windows 8 crashing on my runs for the 7th kill.

Sortie - Kill Ratio: 15 - 10

I am down to 7k fuel, 37k ammo, 25k steel, 25k bauxite AND 61 buckets. So yeah, need fuel and buckets as much as I can before I try E5.

The first two map is hellish (cause my CVL is underleveled).
3 maps from Midway is kinda easy but still consuming resources...

Won't challenging E6 because lack of resources and fleets...
Use around 250++ buckets and roughly 15000 of each resources in this event...
