The only thing I can think of is that Musujime wanted to find out if specially intelligent animals could develop esper powers or if they were exclusive to humans for some unknown reason but I'm not sure if there's anything else. And this for NT7:
If the source for esper powers was only the brain and Rensa can rearrange her brain and body to recreate other esper's why would she just be able to act as an output point and stop being able to use a power if the owner dies but she still has their data?

Hmm, one of the worst mistakes are probably Mikoto's lightning spears going at lightspeed, but hey, when you warp reality you get things like that.

Note this is just a list of things I noted while reading or remembered, so there are no doubt others too. I’m also not infallible, so there's a small chance my rough explanations for why Kamachi is wrong could be wrong themselves.
Spoiler for list:
• (somewhere prior to v11) [paraphrasing] like the sound of water being compressed
o Liquid water doesn't really compress, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't really make a sound for the tiny amount it actually does compress
• (v11 ch2) There existed ice at 20 degrees Celsius and steam at 80 degrees Celsius
o I'm pretty sure there's no ice that's temperature is at 20C, particularly with a reference to pressure in the previous line (maybe there's some exotic additive that could actually move the freezing point up, but most things will lower the freezing point). Steam does exist at 80 C, of course it also exists at every other temperature too. For most things other than water, you can get higher temperature solid phase with higher pressure, just not with water.
• (v11 ch2) The plane feels like it’s forcing itself to fly in the air. If there were a hole, it would collapse due to the difference in pressure.
o though this is a conversation about not trusting the science side, so maybe it's intentional to indicate a lack of understanding of the speaker.
• (v14 ch3) There was also the part where Index had ordered some in-flight food and it flew behind her spectacularly. ... 7000 kph. The powerful g-forces created by such a speed were crushing Kamijou Touma’s internal organs, leaving him unable to respond properly. It felt as if there were a basketball being pushed up against his stomach while someone stomped on it as hard as he or she could. ... The plane must have lowered its speed in order for them to get off. And it was true that Kamijou was feeling better since he wasn’t being affected by the G’s as much
o regarding the supersonic planes, there's no reason why food should fly backwards once the top speed has been reached.
o Also, g-forces aren't created by speed they're created by acceleration. So once they're at the top speed of 7000 kph, Kamijou shouldn't feel anything.
o And given that he repeats it, I doubt it's an issue with the translation, or even a temporary misconception
• “Elementary particles are things even tinier than molecules and atoms. We know that there exist mesons, leptons, quarks, and hadrons made of antiparticles and quarks. These elementary particles make up the world.” <!-- WRONG! Mesons, not hadrons are made of an antiquark and a quark. Hadrons are made of 3 quarks. And neither is an 'elementary particle': only quarks and leptons (electron-like particles) are elementary. I'm tempted to correct this but I won't. This story fails physics often enough (cough mach 7 flight cough) I did correct the wording, though.--CarVac -->
o I wouldn't have actually noticed, but there's CarVac's explanation, actually I'm not sure if the way it's worded means it's wrong or just ambiguous/misleading
• v17ch1: planes go down if a small hole is opened in them.
o That's just a common hollywood portrayal
• v18ch6: The horse was somewhat excited, but the water must have helped it realize how tired it was, because it then folded its legs up underneath itself to sit on the ground.
o I think horses are the ones that always stand in most cases, but I could be wrong here.
• v19ch3: Getting rid of nitrogen is rather difficult though because it makes up 70% of the air.
o it's more like 78%, but that a relatively minor mistake
• nt1ch4: The giant truck completely collapsed onto its side in the tunnel. Even though Hamazura immediately slammed on the brakes, it was clear which of the two vehicles was decelerating faster. The 2-door car’s wheels were still spinning and the dump truck was scraping up against the wall and the ground.
o I would say it's actually not too clear. The truck has a lot of inertia. Though really I don’t have that good of intuition on this one.
• nt2prol: The Science side has a similar opinion, but they say they do not have any idea what kind of gas could give the necessary lift with only that many tanks.
o gases don't give lift, it's displacing the surrounding gas with something lighter, aka buoyancy. So it's not as though there is a theoretical gas that could do it, because the maximum lift is defined by the gas outside the balloon.
• SPch3: Speaking purely of life on earth, there were plenty of strange creatures like water bears that could apparently live anywhere from 150 degrees Celsius on down to -270 degrees Celsius.
o no way do I believe that there is life at -270 C (3 K) on Earth. Temperatures also don't exist anywhere near that outside of research laboratories (liquid helium as the most common low T coolant is 4 K, so 3K is really special) and outer space.
• SSNMch3: Especially the ones bringing in natural gas rather than coal. If he opened a hole here ahead of time, and lit the relatively heavy gases that spread out near the surface,
o natural gas is lighter than air
• SSR2ch8: “The liquid fuel in the launch area must have exploded! I don’t know if it was liquid oxygen or hydrogen though!!”
o liquid oxygen isn't a fuel and can't combust, it just makes it easier for other things to combust. I'm not sure if this is rumor or truth, but you may be able to get the asphalt to start burning with liquid oxygen and the right start.
o though later they get it mostly right about liquid oxygen not being a fuel. They also say that ozone and hydrogen will not explode, but if I had to guess, I'd say those two would still explode (I really can't imagine them not exploding, which ruins the whole point of that scene)
• Somewhere in WW3 story the text calls the bio weapon both a virus and a bacteriological weapon.
o Viruses and bacteria are different, and while they could both be used as bio-weapons, I would say the terms “virus” and “bacteriological” shouldn’t be mixed. I also checked this with js06 when I was editing, and he replied that those terms were not a translation mistake.

And those clear words continued.

So there was no reason to feel inferior.
There was a reason she had been chosen.
Mitsuari Ayu was no different from the people who shamelessly begged a lottery winner to treat them to something. Except she was not even an old acquaintance; she was someone Shokuhou had never even heard of before.
Shokuhou was not about to let someone like that take everything from her.
The loss of a single possibility had been enough to make Mitsuari rot and she now wanted to be a child with a mature look in her eyes, so she would never have been able to withstand the pressure of holding Academy City’s #5 ability.
“And I happen to know something else.”
Shokuhou continued to challenge the girl even as her stomach was squeezed to the limit.
“I know of an ‘older boy’ who stuck to his own path without rotting despite being a Level 0. On that day back then when he spoke with his back turned and protecting me, he clearly surpassed me and my all-too-pathetic Level 5 ability. Your actual skill doesn’t matter. Coolly calculating out all the numbers is pointless. No matter how many arguments you prepare, you have no choice but to accept defeat once he walks in from beyond the horizon. I am very familiar with a Level 0 like that☆”
What was it that kept Mitsuari from shining like that?
Not becoming a Level 5?
That was not enough to deny someone their humanity.
Having her possibilities stolen by the adults?
If that was enough for her to give up, had she truly put in any effort in the first place?
Did that mean any crime of hers could be forgiven?
That was the same as treating all Level 3s and below like criminals.

Chapter 4 first two parts were so good! They made me sad though.

I have a faint suspicion that Kamachi is giving us this info now because Touma is going to fail to protect someone very soon in upcoming books... and we'll get to see if there's any difference in how his personality changes after that. I find it interesting though that he had failed to save someone even after he had already acquired Imagine Breaker... This makes the complaints about Touma always guaranteed to save everyone... false...

I don't really understand... Is Mitsuari a ghost now or something like that? Or did she failed her suicide attempt?
I think she failed, and if we hear about how she survived... I have a faint suspicion that this may give us insight into how Tsuchimikado could have survived falling into the water as well...

She failed in her attempt but what she really wanted was for someone to care about her enough to stop her from doing it but once she woke up, no one was there(Touma). It's an understandable thing

So..the reason Touma was so pessimistic and jaded in OT Volume 01 was because...he failed to prevent Ayu's suicide...
Damn...that's harsh...

Now, that was incredibly well executed.
So, what can I say? First, it's important to actually note that the reason Ayu hates Misaki is not solely the Parameter List, although it remains a quite minor factor. The reason she hates Misaki is actually quite sensible and I really like Ayu's character. She's another 'What-if/Character who failed' type character like Aureolus or Himegami which actually speaks a lot to me as someone who loves OT Volume 02.
Next, and most importantly for me, we finally found out the answer to a question I have been asking for a while. How did Kamijou get such a pessimistic outlook as he had in OT Volume 01 especially it does not seem to fit his character? While it was a fairly predictable reason, I am glad that it has finally been confirmed. That has been at least one person who Kamijou failed to save and because of that his regret got the better of him.
Overall, those two parts were incredibly well-written and well-executed while bringing things back full-circle. I have to say that for such a short volume, Kamachi has done a wonderful job.
Is anyone else glad that Misaki is trying to help Mitsuari because I feel really bad for her and would have been pretty pissed off if she was just beaten as a villain and left to rot and feel even worse

If she was just a villain who was solely meant to be left to rot while wallowing in despair, Kamachi would be breaking quite a major theme of the series. That's part of what makes this series so charming.
So Misaki activates her 'Touma Aura' and Mitsuari counters with her 'Yandere Mode'
It was a matter of time someone from Touma's unknown past would be an antagonist, and Mitsuari being a girl he couldn't save is as interesting as her parallels with Misaki. Can't wait to see how this ends.

Wow, you take it very seriously, if at least she had committed suicide with Touma seeing, OK, but now we know the truth and she will finally be cleansed of all evil in the current volume and join the harem. We have a happy ending!
