Overall I'd agree that normal Maria is preferable. But I didn't think super Maria was terrible. It did let her become a much more believable powerhouse just by being a bit taller. Good thing she was subconsciously holding back or Basara would be dead. Though I think it's a stretch he could take that many hits and not be dead right now.
I guess at the moment Maria is off to rescue her mother while Basara and company buy time? Once she's safe then Maria should be able to help out. Zolgia is really an idiot in some ways. I mean yeah, turning on your own servants before you've actually won is always a smart move. Anyways not a bad episode. Looking forward to seeing how the heck Zest survived since I can't imagine he's actually dead.

Unless you meant Lars, in which case I just assume he used a shadow body like he did when he fought Basara before. |

Its amazing they got away from the fanservice and added actual fights but yet it still wasnt very good not bad but not good.
First off if maria had that kinda power idk why didnt she use it against the Hero's. Basara's whole im gonna save u thing is fun but it felt extremely dull especially when maria was holding back too. Overall it wasnt horrible but wasnt a great one either

To those that say adult Maria's face looks bland... That's just anime QUALITY as per usual. Here's how her face was in the novels. Also, Word of Note: All the images depicted in the light novel image below have already happened in the anime.
Spoiler for Check Out the Lower Left-Hand Corner:

Im so glad mio is tolerable and doesnt use that catch phrase "ill kill you 100 times over" and run it into the ground. i was scared she was gonna be another generic red head. Overall this anime has been good with 1 more episode left im glad this show is wrapping up nicely. My only regret is not waiting for the bd versions.

Maria and her mother sure look alike, she just taller than her mother.
so Mio own power is probably stronger than his father power I like how Lars fool Zolgia with his puppets, it look like he also got a grudge against him too.

Its funny its hard to hate this episode because Zolgia deserved getting crushed but this doesnt feel right. If somebody can explain it this doesnt feel like the right way to end this. O well 1 more episode to go. (Truthfully it was better as softcore).

Well played my ass Basara got lucky Zolgia is an arrogant prick who wanted to humiliate his foe instead of just killin them. He made the same mistake villians been making since Frieza from DBZ the more u taunt an opponent the less likely it is you'll survive because they will ultimately make you pay.

Or maybe Basara actually accurately read Zolgia's psychological profile, or heard about it from Lars, and manipulated him into making these mistakes so that he could win. Honestly what do you want to see? For it to go Beserk style and see Zolgia force Basara to watch while he rapes Mio and Yuki into insanity before killing him?
Basara used a valid tatic and it worked. Are you just searching for things to complain about? |

I didnt hate the battle but i just felt like it was an extreme cop-out the way it ended. The monster thing was just damn creepy in the end also.

Forgive the rather extreme metaphor but my point is I don't understand the point of your complaints. It's as if nothing ever satisfies you anymore. It just puzzles me the way you act lately. You still didn't answer my question. What is it you actually want to see.

Of the 4 shows Duo, Testament, Fafnir, World Break). I had only planned to watch this one. (I looked at duo said... nope fafnir and world break similar complaints.) I read Duo's LN and i thought yea this isnt a great one but i'll give it a try. I waited a few weeks said why not Fafnir and regretted it but wanted to see if it improved. World Break i thought had promise knowing very little about it but i was annoyed with that. But i felt obligated to finish watching since like many of us i know that LN's sometimes take a volume or 2 to get going and maybe it would grow on me. That being said whether they are sour grapes or otherwise here's my question to you. Are most of my complaints valid ones despite being sour grapes.
