Seems interesting(at least enough for me to pre order water girl fig) so might as well ask some info about it.
Is there any conflict bewteen MC and his dad? Every girl is from a different school that came to "x" place to work with him or what? They way he synchronize with each girl is thanks to his ability, armor or another special trait?

Is there any sort of "contract" with each girl that he bonds or he is free to bond with wichever e wants as long as its seven? And, since his limit is 7, once he reach it he has to swap one of the current ones or what?

I read the prologue and I must say I find it curious that the MC is described as normal appearance (although it is recognized that he is trained).

I mean the MC is good looking in the illustrations.

Technically, it's subjective what's "good-looking", but Japanese novels always claim the MC to be "average" when he clearly is not. Easier to self-insert and whatnot.

Btw, working on chapter 01, but no way I'm gonna finish it this year.

IS did several things right.

Houki, for all her faults, was far less offensive (and far more attractive) than the Louise clones prominent at the time.

Charlotte and Laura were even better, and despite their occasional forays into the depths of jealous rage were effectively the predecessor to dere-dere heroines like Rias.

It was also one of the first to use a modern version of the "magical highschool of adventure" in the form of mecha.

Chifuyu was and actually remains free from most degrading nonsense that happens to the rest of the cast, instead giving off an untouchable, unobtainable vibe many writers strive for but seldom replicate.

And it had a solid Myth Arc going on at first, with hints of intrigue and Madoka raising questions about Ichika and Chifuyu's relationship.


And then the author threw it all out and turned all of the girls into jealous domestic abusers who would throw away all traces of dignity and class at the first sign of Ichika being anywhere near another woman. In a school full of girls. And the Myth Arc took second place to school activities, which is dumb since its basically a military academy.

does not compute. Rias was and is dere-dere from day 1 whereas charlotte starts out that way the digresses while laura is the opposite. rias came from somewhere but it definately wasn't those two lol (edit- she also predates both of them by 1 year)

but i more or less agree with everything else. gald to see this series isn't making the same mistakes thus far
