Have to say I'm really looking forward to this one. Kind of amazing not long ago I wasn't sure this would ever exist. But here we are and I'm really hyped to play this next year.

I'm still curious how it will all link up with the Galactic Federation. I assume it's an underdeveloped planet and falls within the GF's Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact (UP3).

Eluria Tower is tops for me, even though it *technically* isn't a battle theme. It feels like one, though. And this SO5 music reminds me of it

That's a pretty solid choice. The Incarnation of Devil is one of my personal favorites from Star Ocean 2 and Valkyrie Profile.

I have to agree with you, I nearly wet myself when I first heard it in Star Ocean 2 and had a fangasam during the fight with Gabrial Celeste in VP while this played.

It's looking good. The combat seems like it will be fun and I do like the whole 'scattering of the party' when you reach town. Get to go around and have those conversations with individuals though there appears to be a limit on the amount of private actions you can have in a break so will have to make some choices there. Nothing too unusual in that respect though. Also get some dialogue choices. Probably the same as previous games, in order to impact the factors of who you are getting closer to.

Seems like it will turn out nicely. The massive group you can lead into a battle is interesting to see in action.

Just good feelings for this one. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out and hopefully we'll get to play it over here next year sometime.
