Consider this, after all this chapters and with not many villains left, 4 in total, we still didn't see catgirl's shikai or bankai. And yet Kubo came up with this thundercat form for Yoruichi. Not that I would complain, but it makes you wonder if Kubo really forgot about her zanpakutou.

Kubo....the one bankai I was hoping to see and now you probably won't do it because Uraha is a WP. Dick.

I was thinking about it and perhaps she just has an unnamed zanpakuto. I also noticed her brother doesn't seem to have one either, despite being at seemingly captain level. Its possible that the family just felt that there was no point in developing zanpakutos. The family was mainly responsible for being apart of the Stealth Corps, responsible for intelligence gathering and internal assassinations, not with hollows. The often times flamboyant abilities of zanpakutos, the fact that they're mainly for hollow purification, and the amount of training necessary make them potentially counterproductive to the stealth corps.

^ During the SS arc near the beginning wasn't it said that Zaraki was the only Captain who didn't achieve Bankai because in the 11th Division you can become Captain by beating the current Captain? That implies that all other Captains have achieved Bankai including Yoruichi.

Also, Yoruichi told Ichigo that her and Kisuke trained their Bankais with the same make-shift room she created for Ichigo to achieve his Bankai back in the SS arc as well.

I have a feeling that Askin will be defeated by a combo Bankai attack from both Kisuke and Yoruichi

KISUKE ACTIVATES HIS BANKAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everything else can be forgotten, i didnt even understand half of the babbling which this aizen-ripoff shouted

and there was the famous moment: a enemy telling the enemy how his abilitys work

now im hyped for 665, kisuke showing his bankai will be AWESOME

lets hope it doesnt end like it did with kyoraku

Fool me once Kubo, shame on you...

I have no choice but to wait and see Kisuke's Bankai before I can get excited about it. So far, it looks like it will go down the Kyoraku nonsense road, but I'm hoping for the best.

I have bad feeling with Kisuke's bankai... it looks too nasty *exactly like Mayuri's bankai*
so everyone from 12th division won't have a normal cool looking bankai, eh?

I think the reason about why Kisuke never easily use his bankai is probably it would come off with some price.. I hope this bankai is not a death flag
Yuroichi probably saved him in the end

The only hint we were ever given towards the nature of Urahara's bankai was that it was ill suited for training purposes. So yeah...safe to assume whatever this is, it's dangerous. Still, I'm liking it so far for being pretty damn sexy to look at.

On another note, I cringed when I saw Urahara's eye ball get injured. That's one of those injuries that really irks me...like fingernail pulling, or teeth drilling/pulling, it just sends shivers down my spine. For once, I'm hoping Orihime gets an opportunity to work her magic on that eyeball.

I'd find it quite amusing if Urahara's bankai proves to be super f'in awesome, but super useless for the current situation.

With that said, I actually wouldn't find it that amusing because I'm tired of this Aizen wannabe, hurry up and die already.

I don't know, I'd be hard pressed to find a similarity with Unohana's zanpakuto.

Now if only we could accurately pinpoint what his shikai actually does. It's just a bunch of random abilities.
