Is it just me or does it seem like Bakugou already figured out what Deku's quirk actually is.

Not really that surprising, Asui, even before the Villain's 1st attack, already remarked that Deku's quirk is very similar to AM. Todoroki, who facing Deku in the calvary clearly realized there is a connection between them. Bakugou also overheard the story and Todoroki's analysis about Deku and AM's OFA. Coupling with the fact that Bakugou himself has faced both AM and Deku, it's not that hard for him to realized if there is a connection, not to mentioned that Deku kinda blurted it out himself.

Though, i do believe that Bakugou have yet to see the true nature of OFA and just realized that there is a connection between AM and Deku, after, AM was still active despite Deku got his quirk. So his thought should be something along the line of OFA was grafted onto Deku or something similar.

Wow, the author managed to make use of Aoyama's "sacrifice" into a beacon of light for his teammate and turn the table competely for UA. It seems that Aoyama suffered a great inferior complex for his teammate and that is why he puts a front.

Bakugou, good job for finally able to put the whole pieces together about Deku's quirk.

I wonder how will the rescue arc will proceed? Will Deku going to get stalked again?

These test sites are always so insane- they have a huge site, with plenty of maps, then they wreck it all so now they have to rescue people. It probably won't be as simple as whoever can grab as many people as fast as possible (that would give the fast quirks too much of an advantage).

So that was really close for half the class. Aoyoma is still kind of annoying, although he was kind of helping (and Iida is good class president). Wonder how long until UA clashes with the rest of their "rivals" more directly. Though the rescue arc should be the last stage of this test, but you never know. And after everything Bakugo has seen, not a surprise he's seemed to have put together Deku's power (Deku did tell him part of it a while ago, just Bakugo refused to believe him at the time).

I never really cared much for Aoyoma, but it was still nice to see him get the spotlight for once.

I'm not really surprised that Baku seems to figured out Deku's ability. He has seen and heard enough that it would be more surprising if he couldn't figure it out.

I'm pretty sure Bakugo had it figured out at least by the time All Might came to visit his house, if not before then. His discussion with All Might at that point, and his reaction to just being fed the official line again, was pretty much a giveaway. All he's doing now is just letting Deku know that he hasn't forgotten what Deku told him all those chapters ago. And probably that he doesn't intend to let Deku keep failing to grasp the full extent of his power forever.

^surely he will say that it doesnt matter how deku got that power, first he wants deku to master it and than he will crush him despite dekus best effort, that will prove that he overcome AM too (would at least fit his personality)

and why is the "hostage" trying to teach Deku and his friends how to pass the trial instead of simply deducting their points silently?

mostlikely because it is the first rescue mission of the kids and since they are nervous they get corrected, plus, the people arent injured in reality so simply taking them to the safe point would result it "false" points since in real cases the injured person would die if they are moved without considering their current state...

i dont think she will "shut it down" forever, it is simply that her emotions dont have a use in the current situation...

Well, my point is, this is an exam, so it is naturally the examiners would want you to fail for not paying attention instead of guiding you in the middle of the exam.

I think the biggest ships are actually DekuxTodo and TodoxBaku, fujo's rule the shipping world over there.

yeah, i also wondered why that guy would help but i guess this is because there is no selection in this current exam,
the students will pass if they reach the required points so i dont think a strong selection is this time the key, if the kids think logically they will pass the exam (at least if the new guy isnt taking them out before they reach such points)

Deku and Iida notice something interesting about the test site: It seems to be modeled after Kamino Ward, aka the place where All Might clashed with All For One. Meanwhile, Sero tells the others that Deku fought against the naked shapeshifter girl (whose name is apparently Kemi), and this naturally ignites both Mineta and Kaminari's jealousy, heh. Bakugou is greeted by another of the Shiketsu students, who apologizes to him for the behavior of his classmate Seiji (the guy Bakugou's group beat earlier), and wishes to build better relations with UA. Speaking of Shiketsu, Todoroki approaches Inasa (the wind guy, remember), and asks him if he has a beef with him. Inasa bluntly tells the son of Endeavor that heHATES him. Apparently, he also points out that Todoroki has Endeavor's eyes, as well. Moments before the test starts, Kemi calls out to Deku, which bothers Ochako. Finally, the exam begins! Soon, Deku comes across a crying child in trouble. He recalls the lessons he learned of how to act during disastrous situations, and of course remembers All Might's rescue video. He even saves the boy while uttering AM's line, "It's alright, I am here". As Ochako watches the rescue, she confesses to herself that her feelings towards Deku are that of love, after all. Nonetheless, she needs to focus on passing the test. At the end of the chapter, the examiner guy comments that this is not merely a rescue exercise. Suddenly, a mysterious shadow appears at the exam site.....

LevelSeven Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: Germany	^ohh :O Spoiler for a guess: seems like we will get some villians too, would be funny if they would be real villians but i doubt that, and i guess i know what inasa has, his father wasnt able to overcome endeavor and therefore made inasas childhood hell, that made him hate the root of all, endeavor, and now he imposes the hate towards #2 to his son, todo... im still a bit sad about the little action bakugou had i hope we will see some great scenes later
