Did Yato just cut Bishamon at his father's request?

I thought Yato cut Bishamon because he would die if his father died. Not entirely sure though.
I have to say, this arc was pretty disappointing until now. My appreciation of Bishamon has gone way up, and I've always loved the Bishamon x Kazuma moments :3

On May 1, 2017, ANN reported: "Noragami Manga Goes on Extended Hiatus Due to Adachitoka's Health". In the text body of the article ANN wrote: "The editorial staff [of Monthly Shonen Magazine] stated that it is currently unknown when the manga will return. When the return date is decided, the editorial staff will publish that date in the magazine"

There is no information whether it is "Adachi" or "Tokashiki" who is in need of recuperation time but hopefully both can take all the time required to fully recover before resuming their team work on "Noragami" in good health, at some point in the future.

Yay, this series is back! Glad they mentioned most of the plots, there had been so much going on before I had forgotten. Looks like things are going to get even more serious now.

Things are getting to its conclusion very soon. I wonder why Susanoo hasn't interfere yet. He must be waiting for something to happen.

The Sorcerer's secret past is revealed. Hiyori will definitely help at the key moment of the conclusion. I'm still praying that Susanoo still step in the conclusion arc.

Yeah, the author's health deteriorated a bit which led to a big hiatus and then short monthly chapters.... It's been about 5 years since my last comment here!
