Sounds like they're a bit prudish over conservative in how things should look like or w/e.
But some others have a point on the Luna debacle and stuff.

ehhhh, honestly I have no clue what is going on in the last few chapters. I can sort of see where they are going but "rush" ain't gonna cut it

On the other hand, I have to give them credit for making the atmosphere, I could totally feel how bleak and dire the circumstances were

One last thing
Spoiler for Heavy spoiler:

This sounds interesting. This was something I thought this game could pull off since it gives a lot of options in conversations and optional sidequests for different characters. Perhaps it could give an ending for shippers. I did find myself growing fond of Iris lol.

Multiple endings for FFXV? Oh, come on! Not FFXV! FFS!

It's not multiple endings. Don't take it out of context.

Tabata stated the ending won't change. There will just be additional scenes naturally to go with the self contained DLC episodes.

The patch is out and surprise! Unlocked framerate in light mode butchers the only stable mode into a stuttering mess... Way to go square enix

Hi, Ben here, new to the forum. Didn't read any of the previous posts so just out of curiousity: is this game any good? I know it's been out since November and there have been many reviews for this but I wanted to hear some opinions directly. I liked Final Fantasy a lot (favourites are VI and VIII) and even though I liked XIII it was not on the same level. Lightning Returns is a digrace to the franchise tho. XII I also didn't care about. I simply lost my interest for FF.
How is it with XV? Like to hear your opinions.

I recently started and I've been enjoying it so far. It's certainly a change of pace from the more traditional final fantasy games... and so far I have to say the plot is loads better than what the XIII trilogy gave us. Never mind the difference in area design. My only real complaint is that the voice acting doesn't seem to match up with the lip sync very well.

Ok, interesting. I guess I found the battle system and the fact that these four characters look like they belong in a boyband way to off-putting at first. The battle system reminded me too much of Kingdom Hearts. I don't have a problem with Kingdom Hearts, just not a big fan of the game in general. I don't know how well the battle system works out in Final Fantasy though.

The "boyband-vibe" might be a bit off-putting at first, but their interactions are natural and there is a sense of real comradery between the characters (much much more than those in the FFXIII series )

The combat is quite solid, especially the warping. Warping is one of the major gameplay elements in the game, and I can assure you that it is both fun and useful

The world is big and beautiful, with a very cool seamless scale.
HOWEVER, one major complaint that I and most of the reviews our there have with FFXV is: the latter half or 1/3 section is very linear. The story suddenly takes up the pace that you can't help but wonder: "Did they rush this game despite the delay?"

TL;DR: FFXV is a very enjoyable game, despite all the drawback, I can still confidently recommend it for its strong points, especially to RPG fans

I'll check it out. Maybe I'll end up liking it. But I seriously doubt that it can top the older FFs for me.

Oh boy, definitely not too sure about this... Wasn't story-telling usually Final Fantasy's strong point?

Of couse this would have DLC... but then again, hardly any game these days comes out without having a DLC, huh.
