And fortunately, I think most non-Western former crown colonies in the Commonwealth care nothing for the BBC or whatever agenda it pushes

I think they should add a professional exam as an additional requirement for aspiring journalists. Just so when they are confirmed to display strong bias and manipulation of facts in their works, they'd be removed of their license to become a journalist.

This "era of fake news" has to be nipped in the bud.

About the only thing I can say about that is that it gives Girls und Panzer some unexpected press. Considering its unexpected fanbase (tank enthusiasts), more is better.

When some journos like Stacey Dooley promote fake news, I just wonder when the broadcasting company will have the guts to grind the axe to get rid of that thorn in the side. Her attitude towards otaku culture is disgusting.

Fire her ASAP before someone punches her, I say.

That's the very least they should do to counter fake news. I read Dooley's background, and she has nothing that warrants her a position at the BBC. If any, she's up there with the Piers Morgan-type of scum in the media.

It's like we are back to the 1980s-1990s, when tabletop RPG promotes Satanism, video games turns you into a school shooter and anime makes you a pedophile. We have had a small, short period of relative calm between the mid-2000s and 2012, then 3rd wave feminists and identity politics assclowns started pushing their toxic shit. Instead, the ordinary people welcomes it with open arms, whereas they laughed at the religious right back then.

Well, I did watch the documentary. It starts off pretty legit, some of the things she found I also thought were rather vile, though I'm not so convinced by her assessment that pedophilia is normalized in Japan. She then goes full retard towards the end, attacking hentai manga.

It should be noted that none of this 3-hour interview with Nogami-sensei was ever even mentioned in the documentary, and Girls Und Panzer was never shown on screen.
