They seem to have custom Cosmo Zeros instead. Dubbed Blackbirds. They may be entirely automated, or nearly automated, run by a command fighter, or the ship's Analyser robot

A Black Analyzer unit cool. hope the UNCF had mass produced Analyzer units for the Automated Fleet to been piloted in Dark Nebula Series Remake if they.ve put up a fight against the Dark Nebula Empire Fleet in Earth's orbit than in original movie when they.ve using EMP on Earth's Defense kind of a Cheap Shot.

In the Star Blazers comic version the Automated fleet is operated by updated Analyser units and they were good but could not adapt quick enough to the attacking fleet from behind the Moon. The flagship attemped to use its wave motion gun, but was rammed and criped by a damaged automated destroyer. Shima's command and control was disrupted by an air attack, so he was unabke aid the fleet coordination.

And Ginga is turning into a ship of the Valkeryres.

Too Bad the Star Blazers Comic been focus on Dark Nebula Series didnt completed. i.ve wonder that Dark Nebula Series Remake been added the plots from the comic like Dr Sado Sedates Kodai after been fighting with Shima for not rescuing Yuki been unused on the original movie in the remake would been added those unused plots.

The Black Bird squadron has a lead fighter (modified black Cosmo Zero) piloted by Kato, with the remaining units (black/purple scheme) being drone units, presumably controled by Galaxy's AI.

We.ve Seen UNCF Ships in Different Colors besides the Far East Fleet from Japan the American and European Fleets been involved as well.

I.ve Wonder the Andromeda been return to earth and had to fix the Damage along with their remaining Sister Ships Aldebaran Achilles and Antares and been joined in with the Ginga's Fleet and the Gamilons for one more fight. against the Gatlantis. Unless Dessler should Smoked Miru's ass for suggesting on Destroy the Yamato all over again.

I imagine the other three original Andromedas will just get fixed up, while Andromeda herself will need a refit/repair to get her wave motion guns working again. We assume that will be the Andromeda painted like Yamato that has improved reaction thrusters and splitters in the wave Motion Gun firing gates, making her have a quad wave motion gun. Possibly using Dreadnought wave motion guns.

Add to this the jaint Gamilas controlled Apollo Norm type ship Nue Bulgrey, and the seemingly large number of black Andromeda ships of the Berserker group, that's a lot of Andromedas. And I am not sure that will be enough against Gatlantis itself, considering that something like 700 Dreadnoughts did more or less nothing when firing at just the construct. Against the enemy fleets though, they should be able to clean out just about anything that's not wave motion gun immume or heavily shielded.

Ginga appears tio have different advantages to the Andromeda, so this might go a different way. Than there is the Musashi (which exists, but hasn't been seen yet in this show), and whatever modifications Yamato gets before the end will make the difference. Thus leading to the Arizona type, which should be a Yamato styled Andromeda hybrid to make use of the best of both designs. Learning from the war with Gatlantis, much like Andromeda is designed with leasons from the war with Gamilas.

i can imagine the Super-Dreadnought of Zordar looks like in the remake been more menacing and intimidating look. like in the original.
