I'm pretty sure that's only half of what's going on with him (as we find out by the end of chapter 2).

If I'm not mistaken, he sold his soul to Ishmelga or some 1000+ year old demon (or God) from around the time of the great collapse in order to save Rean after that incident. Dreichels just did something similar too as evidenced by that scene where Lianne saw him... I might have misunderstood, but that's what I thought I understood while watching a LP of chapter 2... in the scene where they were looking at the hidden truths.

Can anyone confirm if that spoiler I gave was correct? Thanks, lol. My Japanese isn't that advanced, but I'm fairly decent when they voice lines.

The protagonists got a happy ending (thank god its those two who got wed) while the antagonists suffered many loss.

Spoiler for death:

This game killed the most major enemy characters the most in the whole series.
I mean there was Rutger, Arian, McBurn, and Osborne. All of them being super strong characters that's clearly equal to or above Loewe (definitely above Cassius).

Sigh...even though the game came out on 24th, Falcom wont ship the game to international buyers till 26th (if u ordered directly from them).

Yep by NISA or Arkys and it'll be under the name trails in the flash.

In all honesty though now that 3 and 4 are finished this should open Falcom up to talks about releasing it to the west.
