I sure hope the movie won't focus on those game characters. They look so generic.

I hope the game characters appear in the movie. Also that opening is 10/10, much better than the one from the anime.

i hear someone told that the game took on the time between anime and the movie, if that is true then game character could appear in the movie

Movie's out. A nice reminder how much of a badass Mumei is if nothing else.

Watched the movie, which is basically 3 episodes. Action was fantastic, especially the mobility and moves that Mumei demonstrated. I didn't care too much for the antagonist and his daughter, but it was still sad to learn about what happened to them. I was teetering between giving it a 7 or 8, but the dance number in the ED pushed me to an 8. It was random, but man, it was so well-animated! All anime should do this, despite what genre it is lol. I hope the finale of Attack on Titan S3 will have one.

A curiosity. The film debuted in only 28 cinemas in Japan and still makes about 40 million yen. Taking into account that it was mainly made for streaming, it could be said that it was a success.
