Except this time, it won't be from a hero's party. I bet this protagonist will probably have it worse than Red/Gideon (who only banished himself voluntarily) and Rein (who was banished from a party full of absolute jerks, including a "hero" who is nothing more than an absolute monster) combined.

I don't think this is one of the 637 expulsion stories that I've read so far, but I could be wrong. I've been wrong before.
EDIT: No, I don't think I've tried to read this in any form. I haven't saved links to it under different translations of the title. Well, I hope it's at least above average for it's type. Last edited by Greenish Growth; 2023-06-20 at 23:13. |

So this is where we're going next. Can't say I'm that hyped. The best example so far is pretty different from the standards set. Red wasn't really banished from the hero's party. One guy gave him a hard time and he chose to leave.
The summary feels like it'll be a pretty generic show. MC gets kicked out but secretly is actually OP. I guess the only question then is why he let himself get kicked out or hid his abilities to such an extent that he would get kicked out? It might actually be closer to Banished from the Hero's Party in that sense...Will have to see when the show actually airs. But it feels from the summary that he just used people being jerks as an excuse to enjoy a new life in retirement. But in this case harems and stuff will keep him busy.

Wow, this guy is terrible at "not being the hero". The animation also is pretty terrible. And no character really stands out as being remotely interesting. Maybe I'm in an uncharacteristically grumpy mood for no reason, but this is not good enough to give it a chance. Dropped.

in only 7 minutes it checked most of the cliches in the banished hero theme. I mean at least wait until the next chapter to meet the princess, let him establish his normal life first at least.
I wanted to see him living a normal life but for what I saw briefly, I doubt it will happen. Drop. |

Yea, he sure goes back to being a hero fast.
At first, I felt bad for the dragon, if the draogn protects the village in exchange for a sacrifice every now and then, so what? But they get to it, and its a total jerk, so it deserves to get beat down lol.
