Looking forward to seeing some of the stuff that should be coming soon. Really sucks having read all the books, knowing it's gonna be several seasons until one gets to see cool "modern" things. (sigh)

May wanna watch what you suggest is coming though; staff tends to get fussy about source material references.

^ Don't worry, my knowledge of source material is so misty that it's almost as if I never read it. I am just being half-sarcastic.

More importantly, I hope we get some nice action now, though at the same time also hoping that the misunderstanding gets for a surprising change solved by simply speaking with each other (which I suppose won't) instead of trying to kill each other in a situation where a few words could be enough.

Here's naked Luminous cuddling up to another naked frozen woman as intimately as possible...she really doesn't have time for any nonsense, be it from Hinata acting on her own, Louis and her butler Gunther catfighting, or anything. But she can put on a robe, immediately strip it off to be naked again, all so she can put on her normal outfit .

The Crusaders are getting their butts kicked, and that's before Shion showed up to make it clear their only hope is to surrender and capitulate to her. Now, I would love nothing more than to capitulate to Shion and her massive Shion's, but the Crusaders have a rep to maintain. Not that it matters much to Shion .

It's finally time for Rimuru vs Hinata! Even if it's because both are misreading the situation and each others' intentions, though Hinata is stuck in the uneviable position of not being able to back down thanks to her subordinates' screw-ups. Though at least their "bodyguards" did the courtesy of pairing off for the one-on-one duel .

Rimuru and Hinata clash in a flurry of blades and Hinata unleashes her Holy Armor with her elite-grade sword! Rimuru has no choice but throw everything he's got at her .

The Crusaders talk a big game but Shion keeps flexing at them, costing Garde an ear, destroying their Holy Field easily, and cutting through their strongest attack. They didn't stand a chance. Not to mention this is all Renard's screw-up .

Rimuru has gotten powerful, and both Rimuru and Hinata acknowledge each others' strength, but Hinata is still the better swordswoman and has faster reflexes and attack speed...good thing Rimuru has Raphael to just conveniently give him future sight. Bet Great Sage couldn't do that !

Welp, the Crusaders have all basically lost and Soei has a new girl crushing on him, so it's about time to wrap this up. Better to settle it with one last attack as Rimuru realizes the big misunderstanding and manipulation that lead to this fight and that his message to Rimuru was altered. He's still got to take her strongest attack though !

It's rare for Raphael to freak out that much and say they have to sacrifice Beelzebub to survive that...though she may have also been trying to know Rimuru down a peg by making him tank that attack head-on? Either way, the battle is over, Rimuru survived, and a burden has been released off of Hinata's back. And she seems odly cute now !

Of course the Seven Day Clergy had a back-up plan...that sword they gave Hinata? Ended up blasting Rimuru. And Hinata takes the hit for him !

Unless Hinata died in 0.1s or less (which wouldn't make sense considering she got hit in the stomach and not the head) I don't see a way how any damage to her couldn't be just repaired by a splash of Rumuru's OP fluids *cough* healing elixir. Of course, there is always an option of soul attack or similar, but that would make the 7 geezers pretty OP to be able to make such an attack remotely, hiddenly (from the sword user), and fast enough to not be possible to dodge.

I guess her throwing herself in front of the attack will defuse the situation quite a lot provided that she survives. And she might even manage to skip the after-war cleanup meeting with the excuse of being injured.

Wonder why Luminous is letting the 7 geezers do whatever they want in her own country. They are clearly going against her direct orders and also trying to kill her favorite subordinate. That should under any normal circumstances make them the target for a "work accident" even under a gentler dictator than her. Maybe something with the angles is getting rid of them difficult?

Apparently they even cut some of the other Crusader fights...probably so we can get back to the meetings quicker.

It's the same with the Manga as well (not sure about the LN).

The best part was Shion flexing on those idiots. She's got an absurdly OP skill, is she actually stronger than Benimaru now? The fact she thought two Knights instead of just one like the others leads me to believe that as well.

Post fight meeting next episode, most likely. And the next five episodes after that

Well Shion showing her effervescent self not even breaking a sweat fight those two idiots Well Rimuru is kind of having a hard time fight Hinata

Shion really needs to arrive to a fight more gently she just blows away her allies way with her enemies

Apparently, Luminous is corrupt, too. She can hardly move her yuri sight away to the girl in her bacta tube. The seven something had fight with Hinata before, so there is still some lingering feeling. There is no evidence that clowns and Yuuki are behind it, and vice versa. Hinata is starting to give up after seeing an image of Shizu in Rimuru. So, they are in more friendly term. The sage appears to have her own agenda, because Hinata wonders why Rimuru is not evading her attack.

I wouldn't call Luminous corrupt, That person is perhaps the most important person to her in existence. It literally damages her to be near them and yet she still does it. that coffin was what the Clowns were after when Roy was killed.

The writing of this show involving Hinata is irritating. To break the 4th wall a bit, she's not simply being manipulated, she's being written to be manipulated because she's (apparently) the strongest human. She hasn't been given much in the way of character traits, wait lets put a ramenya in this ep; everyone loves ramen so they'll have to like her now too.

She's not really been manipulated other than the first time in season 1. This time everything had already spiraled out of her control by the time she got there. her original plan was to use her own life to try to quell Rimaru's anger had the others hadn't been tricked into going there, there wouldn't have been a fight as everything would have been cleared up in seconds, but by the time she got there everyone's fighting and Rimaru is fed up with this BS.

It's funny how we got through all that talking and meetings to get to this fight when this fight could have easily been resolved if they'd talked more .

But back to meetings I guess .

She does have very "I would totally bang you if you weren't frozen in ice" energy.

Actually, what's even more irritating is that they keep on repeating that she is "beautiful", as if to try to hammer it down to the audience that you cannot say otherwise. And no, I don't think she is beautiful.

Also, just as annoying is how they changed her personality and intelligence when she was first introduced and how she is now. When first introduced, she was arrogant and ignorant, refusing to think with all action first.

Then all of a sudden, this season comes along and now she is more thoughtful and considerate, with action being her last choice. It's a complete 180 to try to make her a more sympathetic character. However, the damage is done, and it just feels forced this season.

They are calling her a beauty, because that's the standard for a lot of Isekai series, were Japanese origin women are said to be more beautiful than even a goddess of the other world.

They didn't really change her personality, it's same as before.

You have to remember that people even in real life act differently depending on the person they are facing.

In Season 2 Part 1, she seemed arrogant and ignorant, because when she faced Rimuru, she faced him as if he was a Monster who had killed her Teacher.

To her at that time, the situation wasn't that different from her facing a wild dog which just happen to be able to speak random stuff, or a terrorist who shouldn't be reasoned with.

But in the current Season 3, she understood that she made a mistake, as it had a more bigger impact than she could have predicted.

Calling her a "beauty" and a "vixen" is funny just because of her outward personality. But we finally found out she's cute .

Yeah, this season has finally given me reason to drop it, I can't take yet another season of meetings the anime anymore. If I wanted to sit through meetings then I would have gotten a job where I had to sit through them, at least then I would have gotten paid for wasting my time.

I don't think it's a sin to have Hinata grow as a character. Her possibly thinking about past actions as being rash or pigheaded would suffice if taken for the better in the story. But the direction to date is still that of being misinformed.

We now turn to the other battle Tempest is about to wage as Edward stages an assault on Youm to stake his full control of Falmuth and not pay reparations to Tempest...all according to Damara's plan. Though he's starting to realize what he's actually dealing with against Tempest, and in particular Diablo, so he has enough sense to cut and run along with his cute bespectacled assistant .

Man, Edward really thinks everything is going his way. He has an excuse for an invasion, Battlesages (there to fight the Archdemon), anti-demon forces...everything is coming up Edward! Nothing can possibly go wrong for him at this point .

Wait, is that blue haired reporter...Rain ?

I love how after organizing the counter-offensive Diablo straight up just lands in teh enemy camp for the confrontation. Dude is so ticked off at being humiliated in front of Rimuru that he HAS to redeem himself as soon as possible .

Edward talks a big game but Diablo knows he's not worth a single breath arguing against, not when he can just flex his powers on his anti-demon forces and make them realize they're not dealing with an Archdemon...but a Daemon Lord who can easily cow them with his sheer aura and power without even having to lift a finger. Kind of like Shion with the other Crusaders. And of course Edward is immediately knocked out so the one remaining ninja guy has to carry him out .

Saare also talks a big game, but is completely out-of-his depth against Diablo and his "Demon Slayer" can't do any serious damage against him. Glenda is pretty confident too, up until she realizes she can't hurt him either and then totally bails on Saare with the Joestar secret technique. Can't say I'm surprised though .

Grigori had like no chance. Ranga dived in there, played around with their forces, and turned him into a plaything before Gobta, Gabiru, and Souka even showed up. There was literally nothing for them to do !

Of course Saare finally realizes they've been used, just in time for the Seven Days Clergy to show up and try to kill all witnesses...just as they're trying to finish off Hinata along with Rimuru on the other side of the battle .
