Iam listening to Air Gear ost and Jet Set Radio Ost and Iam wondering what happens to these artist that make such good soundtracks? I never heard anything new from Hideki Naganuma or anything previously made from SkunkFunk.

Well... I have just recently finished watching all 25 ep's of air gear and it left me hanging. I know that the anime has been completed for over 6 months and I was wondering if there was a 2nd season. I just can't believe that it can just be over cause it didnt really finish its original story line. So, if any of you guys or girls know anything about this please tell me. Thank you!

Gah.. i don't even wanna think about a Air Gear dub - has the makings for nightmares, i'm telling you. Though for a laugh.. i'll check it out when i have the first volume. :3

It wasn't totally ear-cringing at all. It's obviously the VAs of ADV had a lot of fun with this one.

Agito sounds bad too.. nooooooooooooooooooooo T__T Agito was perfect.. infact all of their voices were perfect for the part in the japanese version.

Actually this has been one of the better dubs I have heard for a while. Infact I think they have done very well for this first episode. Spitfire with a British ascent does sound rather strange but I have to hear more of him to make judgement. Other than that I give this dub 8/10.

I must admit, I first got into anime watching English-dubbed shows wherever one could find them, Cartoon Network and the like. And I was perfectly content to ride the David Lucas (Blum? Whatever) train from Cowboy Bebop to GTO to FLCL and so on.

In fact I was always quite confused when I read negative criticisms on Amazon where the reviewer would repeatedly mention how absolutely terrible the dubs were and how they had ruined the show for them. The dubs seemed perfectly all right to me, and watching the show in Japanese with subtitles on just seemed silly.

Then, of course, I fatefully stumbled into Animesuki and fan-subs. Now, after the last few seasons of anime, I am beginning to witness the arrival of dubbed shows that I initially viewed in Japanese, Air Gear only the latest example.

Ahem, and now, please allow me to recant those statements made in youthful ignorance and 100% officially state:

FAN-SUBS 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

(Though I do applaud ADV for not giving the hairdresser Spitfire the stereotypical “West Hollywood” accent...not sure where they got British from though.)

Hm less censor crows in the dub version, if I'm not mistaken? Probably the same as the japanese dvd version. The dub sounds decent although the original is still better ofcourse. Might be a little because of bias though, it's a matter of what you're used to.
