Yeah, there is a Mai Otome Zwei manga releasing in anthologies right now. But there are only raws for a preview chapter and chapter 1 for some reason. And it's not drawn by the same artist.

Mashiro says that her parents gave her that name. Does this mean that Mashiro is the real princess' name? So thus, Nina's name should be Mashiro?

I seem to recall she introduced herself as Nina when they met. My guess is that it was given to her by whoever found her in Artai.

I'm so disappointed! Chapter 2 does not go past where the OVA1 ended! The basic plot is the same as the OVA with a few minor changes here and there such as who gets attacked, etc. One thing is we don't see any Fumi resemblance in the alien here. Actually, it doesn't really resemble anyone since the face is shadowed. She's supposed to be imitating Shizuru because we see Shizuru's Element attacking Natsuki. Natsuki figures out that the alien has done something to Shizuru and is enraged. But her Robe goes out before she can attack.

And it seems the alien has infiltrated Youko's lab as well as we see Youko quite bloodied up. Oh, and surprisingly, no Miss Maria.

Looking at their shoulder...
It seems to me that they are related to Chie...

Their Robes are a mix between Pearl and Chie's mai-star (look at the shoulders! )

Edit : Did I forgot to mention they also have the Airries Symbol on their Robes? (don't know how to spell the name of the country...)
