Not a fan of adult Fate, since it felt purely made for fan service. The original 9 years old was the one I adored; she was just another twin tail blonde anime girl but for some reason her design just stood out as unique.

I tend to flip-flop on how I feel about Fate. It really depends on how she's being depicted.

Hayate looks good in pretty much anything. But damn, those officer uniforms.

Got to say though I feel a bit glad there's a few in here who's not a huge fan of Fate. Not like I hate Fate or anything because I do like her a lot right after Nanoha (total Nanoha fan) but I just felt there's a bit too much stuff that caters towards the Fate fans (not a bad thing or anything lol). Not only that, there's not enough Hayate (yes she definitely looks good in uniform) either... or for any of those shafted characters *sigh.

Yup. Nanoha and Shari are the only ones i found really attractive in military uniform(also Shamals looks good in her Ritsuko outfit xD). Nothing against Hayate and the others, they look fine, but for some reason i find Nanoha charming in her air force attire complete with tennis shoes(which depict her active nature as an instructor) xD.

Fate's characterization was done so well in season one, and then when she proved she can think for herself by choosing to leave the dream she always wanted (episode 10 a's) for her friends...Is probably what sealed her as my favorite character.

And tragic characters are yummy.

Yep! Nanoha and Shari does look good in the military uniforms.
Fate looks perfect with the Enforcer uniform (well in a way it is her colors).

Hayate not so bad at all. Do love her barrier jacket though which we don't see often. That also reminds me, was Hayate always a bit short? Just rewatched StrikerS and while Nanoha & Fate are roughly the same height (with Fate a tad bit higher), Hayate is quite shorter than those two. She's like a doll xD! Wonder if there is an actual height chart somewhere with numbers rather than relative height.
