Hmm... I'm on CDT, which is 5 hours off from GMT, and 14 hours behind Tokyo, so it first airs on サンテレビジョン at roughly 10:40 here, and it should be around 15:40 GMT (3:40pm).

But just in case I'm wrong about the GMT time (Daylight Savings Time always screws me up), go to this site to get the current time in Japan, and figure it from that.

No it's not common, but here it's common to buy home-grown potatoes as those are cheaper than going to a fast food restaurant. But we DO have a potato garden where we grow our own potatoes, and it's better than those in the fast food restaurants. Those taste like plastic. And I've never eaten a single hamburger in my life. Or a cheeseburger. I hate cheese actually, it looks like melted plastic. Maybe it is. This means, the cheese and the potato is made out of plastic actually!

The lyrics for the ending song (for Haruhi-chan) refer to rumors of a continuation and how everyone's been waiting for it, but no solid proof. We'll just have to countdown until Thursday, and maybe even longer after that. I'm guessing that we'll either get new episodes starting with BLR this week or after the reruns completely finish.

The naive, irrational and dreaming part of my brain thinks that Kadokawa might as well be trolling us with every announcement and release they're part of. They could be telling us the truth with the lyrics to the ending song, and there won't be a second season. Or that could be a lie, too. Maybe everything they've said up until now has been bullshit.

There's always the possibility of a later broadcast too, in the summer or later this year. Some people got excited over the idea that some sort of new second season content would air in the winter, because of the whole December 18 thing in Disappearance. There's Tanabata coming up eventually, which would go along with Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, so people are going to start wondering if there'll be new stuff in the summer. But this counts as hope, which is what they want, so I guess I'm just falling into their trap. Goddamn rational thoughts, popping up again.

I dunno, I think that Kadokawa and all the other people involved with Haruhi know exactly what they're doing. Either that, or the lyrics of the ED were referring to something else. I don't know what they would have been referring to, but it's possible that since it's so close to when we think a new episode might pop up, the slightest hint of a second season (or lack thereof) could cause a huge explosion of speculation and whatnot.
