Just so you know, the Campione slayer is not called Arthur. He is only the prototype of King Arthur. He is referred throughout the series by Lancelot and Guinevere as the 'Last King'.

Anyway, Satan is counted as a heretical god in the campione universe if he materialise. Several demons were mentioned in the past fights of the Black Prince. Furthermore, angels are also classed as gods, as the first authority Alec gained was from an angel.

Actually I called them summaries simply to moderate expectations and reserve the right to skim over laborious parts if they ever come up.

Considering the "summary" for HSDxD Volume 9 ended up approaching 40 thousand words (!), I'd say I've strayed pretty far from the concept of summary.

I guess I could try my hand at translating Campione Volume 2 (after all, I did most of Chapter 1 already)... No commitments further than that for now though.

No guarantees on speed either.

Alec's powers include lightning speed movement(faster than Godou's), lightning attacks, summoning three goddesses to deflect attacks from enemies back towards them, summoning this mermaid like monster I think and constructing the cretan labyrinth. The complexity of the labyrinth depends on the intelligence of the user. In many respect, Alec is way awesome than Godou. He's so badass that he doesn't need subordinates to fight alongside him--they only arrive after he had long left the battlefield because his movements are too fast.

No, Godou 'won'. Alec turned tail and ran after Godou had the upper-hand in the fight. But his reason for running wasn't because of cowardice. His trap succeeded in separating Lancelot from Guinevere , giving him the chance to isolate and destroy the latter. Since continued engagement with Godou would increase the chance of Lancelot breaking out and rejoining Guinevere, Alec ditched the fight--his retreat covered by the girls hell-bent on "punishing" Godou.

I forgot who the three goddesses were, but the mermaid was like the boar--in fact there was a massive monster fight between the two.

The sword is a talking sword who also happens to be one of the gods of steel. The sword copies authority and in Godou's case, can combine with his different powers. When he used the Kusanagi Sword on the boar in the fight against Lancelot, the boar gained a coat of armour. I think he got the sword after defeating a berserk Ena. I skimmed through bits and pieces of the fifth volume, so I'm not quite sure either.

From my memory alone,

which has been sh*tty lately.

Godou only had the upper hand later on. He was getting owned in the first 4/5th of the fight (until you mentioned it, I always felt like Alec deserved the win). Alec was clearly dictating the flow of the match making Godou waste his forms left and right.

The thing with Alec is that he's completely unique among the Campiones in that he is a schemer. When you shed the artificial BS Godou spouts off, he's the same competitive battle freak Salvatore and Luo Hao are. Alec is a semi-battle freak AND a big-time manipulator. The schemer aspect of Alec really showed in his fight with the way he controlled the flow of the fight.
