I got the Car Wash achievement as Symmetra last week. I felt kinda bad for that Zarya. She melted in seconds before she even got to use her shields.

I've found a sneaky tactic of placing them low down (on steps or in amongst debris/objects) as well as up high is particularly effective on payload maps.

People tend to look up once they start getting hit and often miss the turrets hidden low down on the ground. The fountain section of Dorado is perfect for it, with all the clutter and stalls scattered about. Managed 29 turret kills on Hanamura doing something similar xD

Gegury is a 17 year old female player with an obscenely high KDA (6.31) and winrate (80% with 420 games played).

Her dominating performance in scrims and in tournaments caught people's attention and many of the players started to accuse her of hacking. After winning the qualifiers for the Nexus Cup defeating all of the Korean powerhouse teams, the opposing team required Artisan to report Gegury to Blizzard Korea.

Two pros even bet that if she wasn't a hacker they would quit playing professionally.

Few days passed, Blizzard Korea gave their response that she wasn't hacking, and she also decided to come on stage and stream live with mouse/screen camera showing herself playing. She has shown a stellar performance on stream and cried on stream saying she's been under a lot of stress over the last few days because of the accusations and how she could have played better.

Yep, ELTA and Strobe from Dizziness quit, first they said that everyone from their team would quit the team, however the team leader on Artisan (Who is 32?) has been very generous and given Dizziness players grace. However with the giant uproar in community, it's pretty impossible for the primary instigators ELTA and Strobe to keep on going so they resigned. (Strobe also made a death theat I think)

Still, Blizz tying exclusive cosmetics to ranked mode? If that doesn't make people competitive I don't know what will.

People already go crazy doing quests for the current dota 2 battle pass and that isn't even tied to MMR.

I'm slightly concerned. How many times is repetitive? Sometimes the game literally kicks me (for inactivity) before I'm actually in it and can do anything.

I do the same thing. I typically place them as high as I can (I actually have to jump to place them) because it means that the person having to shoot them has to look WAY up and take their eyes off other parts of the fight to take them out. I typically place them right after Widowmaker chokepoints so even if they get past our sniper, they still have more to contend with. It works very nicely on maps like Dorado as you mentioned. But my best successes have actually been on Hanamura and Volskaya, where they have to stand on map points to cap or alternatively go through chokepoints.

I have a tendency to stick turrets on the payload wether attack or defense. I once tried actually to stick them on the underside which of course does not work. Would be kinda funny if it did.

I tend to avoid sticking Symmetra's turrets to the payload as they never seem to last very long, since most characters can hit them quickly regardless of their attack range.

I often throw a random turret up on flanking paths that I know are frequented by characters like Genji, which if anything act as a handy early warning which I can communicate to the team.

I found that on the Hollywood map that there is some really sneaky positions around the first capture point, that can be a real pain for the enemy. Positions such as the bushes below the balcony that overlooks the limo, and the small outcrops on the buildings on the rear path are great for slowing the enemy.
