I am however more surprised the internet didn't implode with any P-kunXMishiro stuff. You all know how shippers react to such things, this is the kinda fuel to start great fires That one tiny moment between the 2 is enough to move armies

At the 10th Anniversary live, on day 2 both Broducer and Takeuchi-P appeared in the flesh with much applause. At one point Takeuchi-P goes to recruit Nu as Hibiki to 365 and she takes his business card saying something like "I got it dazo!" Broducer goes something like "Y-You're serious!?", was quite hilarious. They made fan art out of it already: http://cgtranslation.blogspot.ru/201...o-make-ep.html |

Kaede brought it in this episode . Some really good moments. Enjoyed seeing her draw the line and show what was really important to her. Standing once more on that same stage with fans who were there at the beginning meant a lot to her.
Glad to see the Producer just fighting the whole time. It didn't take long in that meeting for him to step up and he really worked to find the proposal that would be the way to fight back. That Exec sure seems like a terrible person to have in charge where development is key. All about "now, now, now" with her. Which is fine in the short term since they've already developed a few strong idols that they can go all out with. But you are also losing a ton that will be great in the future and eventually that company will just collapse once those stars are gone.

So that new manager want immediate result. And that result is an overseas success. It kinda contradicts each other. So yeah, she is pretty much the worst person, whom you can put in charge. Not to mention that she is overestimating popularity of idols outside Japan. Who they think idols are? German metal bands?
But anyway, I'm always glad to hear Saori Hayami's singing and Koi Kaze is one of my favorite songs of hers (full version exists already, BTW). |

That was a great great great episode. Really enjoyed it.
This bombshell of an announcement really hit hard. You can see it in all the suits running around, making arbitrary calls, and a lot of the 346 idols looking sad and their reactions to the news. I expected P-chan-kun to resist the idea of overseas expansion, but I didn't think Kaede was gonna be much of a focus this episode. I don't know too much about her, but after this episode, I can definitely say that she's fuckin awesome. She doesn't come off as someone with an airheaded personality, but she can be serious when situation asks for it. And seriously, her jokes are so endearing. Her "roomy but gloomy" remark made me chuckle a bit. Her reason to declining the offer to play at the venue she first performed at was sweet of her; she really does care about the fans. I'm also glad the girls didn't stay too sad and gloomy about the situation either. Making their new home all nice and tidy was a good idea. This second half has a lot of potential. |

This set up though. So, 346 wants to take Chihaya head on? Well they do already have the idol for that, which is Kaede.
Let's see if this arc references the Tokyo Game Show 2010 fiasco.

So if Mishiro-san tries to force through too many changes, what are the odds on the Cinderella Project cast leaving 346 to join a different production company - or even starting a new one?
The series itself has plenty of evidence showing how other idol firms are still out there and ticking along, despite not being on the same level as 346 Productions financially. (And we have Jupiter as an example of a group who made it out of a bad production environment, even if it's not quite confirmed yet whether they are now working with 315 Productions or are still doing their own thing.)
