Yikes...
Tsutsui-sensei pretty much redraw Chapter 28 in a different setting, with similar circumstances, plus added Senpai. Even the outfits are the same. If he started struggling with ideas for a weekly chapter, then don't force it, concentrate on wrapping up things in a satisfying manner. |

Maybe it's because of the lack of two-parters that I started to get bored of the manga. I feel like they are good for keeping up the interest, even if nothing happens ultimately, while a lot of individual chapters in one go just make the whole experience rather dull.
The Summer Break arc (Chapters 31-50) had: - Two-parter Senpai introduction (Chapter 31-32) - Semi Two-parter Fumino sleep with Nariyuki (Chapter 38-39) - Uruka two-parter (Chapter 42-43) - Two-parter Miharu introduction (Chapter 45-46) - Beach two-parter with Senpai and Sensei (Chapter 48-49) And for the individual chapters, there were some classics like Maid Sensei, the curry misunderstanding, Schoolgirl Sensei and Shadow Emperor Nariyuki. Starting with Chapter 51 to the recent chapter, we only had one two-parter and that was Uruka's (Chapter 76-77). Sure, the Cultural Festival was a six-parter, but the majority of us expected the vague outcome, so it was kinda a letdown. In fact, starting after the Cultural Festival, the individual chapters really felt like a hit or a miss. To me, the manga's current phase is easily the weakest by far. |

^Coz there's little to no actual character developments
- Rizu still dense - Fumino still plays matchmaking - Uruka still hides her feelings but now with time limit - Senpai and Sensei still not falling for Yuiga (will they ever?)

The studying elements kinda vanished too. We saw them time to time to do their thing, but what about the progress and the results? All of the girls did terribly in the cram school, which was like 33 chapters ago. Outside of some comments from Nariyuki about them doing great, we have no basis to actually think that they are capable of achieving their dreams. And Nariyuki also has to figure out his dream that have yet to be explored. The opportunites are there for the manga to be interesting, but Tsutsui entered the dragging route. |

^Just keep milking that cashcow, baby!~
I thought that since this manga has clear objective and they are also in their last year of highschool, it won't fall into the meaningless episodics route, but lo and behold ![]()
