Looking for the name of this fantasy sword/bow/hero anime...
Been a LONG time since I got back into anime. I recall there being a sticky thread for "name this anime" for those looking for the name of a specific anime instead of creating a thread in the past but maybe that was removed.
Anyways, I'm looking for the name of this anime, probably came out within like 4-5 years ago. It involved the characters waking up (I believe they all have amnesia too) with certain weapon-based powers. Some of them form alliances and try to kill each other. Not sure if this is right, but I think they were all "heroes" or popular "warriors" from former myths and legends from other cultures (again, not sure how accurate I am on this). I know for sure it involved a chick with a bow and a samurai dude. Actually, while I have this thread active, can anyone recommend me swordplay anime with the last several years? Currently watching Anti-Magic Academy, Attack on Titan (eh, not really swordplay I guess lol) and God Eater. Nothing too old, just any swordplay anime (don't care much about comedy though) in the recent years. If it involves samurai, even cooler. Female or male protagonists or magic/superpowers, is all cool with me. And yes, I have seen much older ones like SAO, Bleach, etc.

Recent shows with swordplay
Angolmois - Japanese vs Mongols in late 13th century; should be a top choice Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens - a witty show about hitmen, some of whom use swords Golden Kamuy has some swordplay, but a variety of other weapons like bows and guns as well. Pretty much all the characters in Thunderbolt Fantasy, the remarkable puppetry show, use swords and magic. The second season just began, but here's the opening episode of season one to give you a taste:

I suggest you post your identification question in this thread. You will probably get a better response.

I've seen the original series/spin-offs and that's not the series I'm looking for Posted in that thread as well. EDIT: Someone quickly answered and the name of that series I was looking for is called Drifters. I'm still up for more swordplay recommendations of anime within the last several years also

Not sure about the one you are after but regarding swordplay stuff, what about these ones?
Arslan Senki Bamboo Blade - it is old but it's kendo based so maybe will be to your liking Fate/Zero and new Fate/Stay Night series Hakuouki is based on shinsengumi. There are movies with alternative storyline. I would start with prequel Hakuouki Reimeiroku Oda Nobuna no Yabou Seirei no Moribito old but good in case you missed it
