The Galactic Navy Officer Becomes an Adventurer (Kochugunshikan Boukensha ni Naru)

Plot:
The spaceship which Imperial Galactic Navy Officer Alan Corinth helmed was shot down by a surprise attack during hyper-space navigation.
Completely due to freak coincidence, Alan became the only one in the ship to survive.
The severely damaged spaceship lost its navigation capabilities and plummeted onto a nearby planet.

Using an escape pod, Alan headed toward the planet alone.
Thus began Alan’s quest for survival on the underdeveloped planet utilizing the symbiotic nanomachines [Nanom] within his body.
Surprisingly, the planet was home to a thriving human civilization whose genetic code closely resembled Alan’s own.
Even while remaining at a loss due to being thrown into a world of swords and magic, he tries to live as best he could together with his newfound comrades.

What would Alan achieve this strange world?

The Sci-fi Fantasy story in a Medieval setting now begins!

It's based on a light novel of the same name and i'm liking the manga.
A human from a futuristic empire finds himself on a planet of swords and magic whole using his skills as a engineer and soldier (and nanomachines son!) to survive.

Took a look at the manga, and I'm liking it so far. The protagonist being OP makes sense in this case seeing as he has interstellar tech, and I'm curious how they're going to play out him interfering in the war.

He hasn't actually done anything unusual thus far. He needed her help to acclimate to the new world, and so he protected her.

And there's no guarantee that he'll ever be able to leave the area, so aligning yourself with a local power who would be advantageous. Especially if you manage to put them in your debt by helping to put them back in power.

At this point he's mostly just riding the flow since it's not like he has the leeway to do anything else. That could change once the AI gets the ship back up and running to some extent.

It's still there, and he has a laser gun. Cant be too hard to take it back.

He doesn't need money, he needs base of operations to figure out what he's going to do from now on. And the debt being too great to repay is literally the point. He'll have the resources of an entire kingdom available to him to either help with repairing his ship or live comfortably from then on.

He regenerated her limbs because she was a fellow human, and he needed her to learn about the world he was in. He got payment in learning how the world works, the language, and was able to somewhat establish himself through her connections. As in literally everything his tech couldn't already give him.

I get that you've been mentally traumatized by the constant herbivore MC's who white knight everyone they meet, but this dude's actions are entirely logical for his current position.

If he ends up going completely native or something you could call him a simp, but at this point he's basically taking advantage of her at no cost to himself.

Yeah, no one. Including me. What part of "base of operations" including him taking over a territory?

He can stay at the castle or whatever and plan out his next move. If he needs resources or manpower he can ask the princess (queen, whatever) for assistance.

First off, he's a military man trained to protect other humans. He specifically said he was intervening to save them because of that.

Second, in exchange for the nanomachines he now knows the language, culture to an extent, magic, the political situation, and he has a guide of sorts to the world. More than a fair trade.

Well...that's how the great majority of Japanese shounen/seinen web novels go when the main male character is dropped into the middle of nowhere - the first regularly occurring person he meets are 1-2 girls that need help. Then the girl(s) helps him get adjusted to the situation.

By the way, did the manga artist draw an earlier manga (isekai)? Because that artwork looks familiar.
