Spoiler for 13:
Can't see how Okabe's gonna outrun SERN if he can only jump 3 hours into the past. Can think of a few ways, but they probably end up happening

Ah, Suzuha finally shows off her badass side, and despite hating what Moeka has done...damn, she is scorching hot in that outfit.
I do hope the show doesn't go 100% serious from here on out. One thing I loved about the series so far was the lighthearted banter between the characters, and I will really miss that if it is all grimdark till the end. |

Well this is not good. I mean he's only jumping a few hours back and trying to escape an attack that has pretty much shut down the area. Toss in the classic you can't save someone by going back in time and it's just not good.
Easy enough to keep most of the lab members out of the way (or so it seems), but saving Mayuri is looking impossible. Though luckily SERN is posting next to no guards at the lab so Okabe can just sneak back over there and keep using the device. Maybe the best combination would be to time leap and then use a d-mail to try and jump to a different world line. A few different combinations they could try to get out of this mess. At any rate time leaping alone isn't getting the job done.

Damn, I was very close to choosing "painful" in this episode's poll. It was that hard to watch Mayushii reach that same fate so many times in the same episode... And Kurisu as well at least once! DAMN THEM!
Anyway this episode was absolutely fantastic, I feel like the show has finally reach cruising speed after slowly building up speed in what seemed like a good but still overall slow pace. Plenty of questions are still up in the air like "Who murdered Dr. Black Makise Kurisu?" or "Why does Suzuha claim Kurisu is a spy?". We could speculate a lot over those questions but I think we don't have enough data to know if we're on the right track but I think that if we figure out what FB is then we may be on the right track. Any ideas?

Yah painful to watch them kill Mayuri that much x.x
But it seems like Shining Finger doesn't want to be doing this. She refered to Okabe as Okabe-kun and probably had to chant again to kill her. What im curious is how they keep finding them >.> Sat tracking or something.

1. Excellent episode. Excellent show. Some possible unlikeliness, such as how he is able to get back to the lab without SERN being there to intercept him, but I'll let my disbelief slide.
2. Miyano Mamoru is doing some godly voice acting here. Starting with that weird, self-important presentation makes it that much more powerful when he is just crying from the heart, as he is now. 3. The courteous instinct is good, but in my opinion, spoilers for ep13 events are absolutely not needed in this thread, whether you're watching the raw or the subbed version. If people come to this thread before they have watched the episode, any spoiling is on them. No need for spoilers is one of the big advantages of episode-specific threads.

My, this episode moved me deeply! I like it better than Madoka ep 10. The flashback between Mayuri and Okabe is heart-wrenching. Please Okabe, use your mad scientist power to save her, no matter what! So some possible ways Okabe can save Mayuri:
Yeah, there's still hope, plenty if it.

Dear lord, they got creative with killing Mayuri in this episode. I was not expecting that ending. God. Though, it all reminds me of what John Titor said in one of the earlier episodes: if you're destined to die at a certain time, you die regardless of the time line. That can't be changed. Clearly, Okarin will have to think of some other way to save Mayuri, because otherwise she'll keep dying at the chosen time, even without Moeka and SERN involved.
Speaking of Moeka, some more tiny hints that she might care more than she lets on. Her little slip of calling Okarin "Okabe-kun" clearly shows that she hasn't completely drawn the line in just making him a target she has to capture. Whether or not she's the same way with Mayuri is unclear, but obviously she still cares at least a little bit. Her chances of redemption in another time line look pretty decent. Also, I liked how in each time line, no matter what Okarin did, Kurisu could tell that something was wrong. Even in the second attempt, she still texted him. It's a sign of how much she reads him, and it was sweet to see his reaction. I bet sooner or later, she'll join the effort to save Mayuri. She could be a valuable ally to Okarin. Admittedly, though, I'm confused. When Kurisu is shot in the first time line helping Okarin, is it an injury or a killing blow? From the angle, it was hard to tell. I sort of assumed it was an injury, because otherwise Okarin would have her dying at the same time as Mayuri.

I'm sorry for have doubted you had the mad skills to save everyone Suzuha and like i thought Moeka is skilled as well since i don't think she's using those sexy clothes to just show off, but man >_> the last death was really cruel, Nae's face made that scene much more worse than I thought it would be...

This episode make me like Suzuha much more. Really good episode I wasn't expecting the car or the subway at all. as someone mentioned about the VN it would have been neat if he didn't think it worked when he first used the time leap. As someone mentioned I hope ppl don't think Madoka had the idea first >.>

Wow, this episode was even better than the previous. I was on the edge the whole time. To think he'd fail both times. The world is too cruel
Hopefully Okabe can find a way to beat that 1% thingy(don't remember the name) and save Mayuri quickly. I don't know how many more times I can see her die

When I saw Nae's in the last scene, my first thought was "That's what Oyashiro-mode should have been like in the Higurashi and Umineko anime! " I hope Okabe thinks his next plan through better. He seems to have forgotten he has two capable friends in the same room when he comes out of the time leap.

Mostly, I think he left them out of his last two loops because he wanted to keep them safe from harm as well, and he probably didn't want to put them at risk by asking for their help. It's only a matter of time before Kurisu, at least, figures things out though, considering how in each time line she knew something was up.
