I believe that the scene was a foreshadowing; a bad premonition Tykki had about a future event.

I just wonder.. Why Yuuu didnt make Ev reaction when he use his innocence against skin... wasnt that a level up? , and what about Krory?.. i dont know, i would like that everyone become a marshall level soon

It's not a "level up" for them as those powers they used were pretty much forced out of their systems. Like how Allen over used his innocence back at the case with Suman. He surpassed the limits of his innocence but it didn't grow. The same thing could be said for Kanda and Kuro (though they didn't have time to suffer the side effects of such).

^ That makes sense now. So Lenalee, Krory, and Kanda did not increase the synch rate of the innocence. They only used "desperation" moves.

Desperation is a good term to describe it. I also see it as a last resort that only comes from the point of death

So, what you imply is that going over the limits of the "Innocence" is not the same as to make it evolve?

For example, back to the Ghost of Matel arc, Allen became so imperially pissed off at the Pierrot Akuma that his anti-Akuma weapon change for the first time.

Was that an example of a "desperation" move or truly an "evolution" of his anti-Akuma weapon?

I would say that when Allen's weapon changed into gun mode that was evolution.

Basically what I see as a limit breaker are those one off stunts you won't expect to see again. Not that we will now that both Kanda and Kuro are RIP unless some fancy hocus pocus brings them back (and no dragonballs >.>).

Yes, i agree with Guido, and i think that the emotions are the ones that help innocence to evolution. But i also agree with Deathkillz because maybe the innocence can evolution but the user needs some evolution to hold it, and thats why lenalee legs are bad.

Well, Krory's was considered a level up, but just not as huge as Allen's... And Yuu long had that new power if I'm not wrong, he didn't level up at all during that fight.

I disagree though, if everyone could be a General level, it's not as special anymore...

And what about Allen's cursed eye?

His eye is somewhat of a special issue not related to Innocence at all.

The first time that it "leveled up" the Skull Mana appeared from within it, and that was middle in the Krory arc.

After that, the eye reacted on its own. That was more evidently shown during the Asia Branch arc, when it detected the presence of the Level three miles away and gave Allen excruciating pain.

According to the manga, the eye supposedly evolves in similar fashion as an Akuma evolves, except that the eye lusts and craves for the destruction of Akuma.

And the first time when the eye evolved, it allowed others besides Allen to see the souls trapped in the Akuma within a certain field. However, after that, that incident has never happened again.

As explained in previous episodes... the parasite innocence Allen has wasnt in a stable condition.. that is why it would change from gun to melee weapon.
The true form was the white clown but until now he was using it at a lvl of sync below 100%.

I dont think any of the exorcists we know of will be reaching break point since it isnt just some kind of ultimate technique like the bankai from Bleach xD
Those few that reach it are considered potential "Innocence Heart holders" and that is why they are "promoted" to Grand Marshalls. Both because of their powers and for protection.

Kind of OFF TOPIC: I never mentioned it but the OP song of D Gray Man is really catchy... it is one of the few animes i listen to the OP in each episode together with the actual Naruto OP =D

incube: There is only 1 Grand/High Marshall. Cross, Sokaro, Tiedoll, and Nine are all Marshalls only.

Well you can't compare the 2, it has already long been said by the writers that there WILL be more Geass user... It's rare, but that not unique.


It's much easier to compare it to the Captains of Bleach, where at this point there are plenty of people as leet as them.

Or at least, there's too many situations that warrants their personal attention.
