Type-Moon has never had a problem with using fictional characters. I wouldn't be surprised if we got Tom Sawyer in the US chapter (horribly disappointed, but not surprised). That being said, I think I'd never stop laughing if we got Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Slayer.

They wanted to, but couldn't get the rights. It was in one of the pre-launch interviews.

In some cases, yes. But certain Servant interludes improve their NP's damage and skills.

I don't know if they actually tried or just realized that they would need to get them in order to do it, but either way rights were involved and they didn't want to mess with it. But they wanted to do it.

How can you tell if their interlude is one of those kinds?

Oh ok. That makes a lot more sense. Can't imagine type-moon go through that lengths. Guess they're afraid to cross some kind of line.

Count of of Monte Cristo was way before the copyrights laws, so it's public domain. Lincoln can be used as long it's not a vampire hunter, which can be done by buying license with money which I doubt that Aniplex will do, so they haven't been trying to get rights of anything, otherwise the collab wouldn't been KnK.

So there's still a possibility that Avenger might not weak to regular classes right (i.e berserker type def)? I don't want to spend money/ticket/gem or whatever if he's only useful against ruler and beasts lol.

Not a chance, from March 10th class table all 6 class hit avenger 2.0x, berserker hit them 1.5x. He hits 1.0x in return and 2.0x to zekers and rulers. The funny thing is that rulers also hit them 2.0x so no gain there.

However roll for him since it's unique, limited and why not.

I see I missed that. That means that the damage table will be updated this Wednesday. Still my motivation to get him is 0.

Edit: I'm having a second guess that this event will force us to use him as support, so no Kintoki support to fight rulers. Hm...
