And so, Madara pulls a Susano'o with a hood and 4 arms...I think Kishi's had his hand at D3 Sasuke being Sasuke, as always, he even admits that Itachi is the reason he turned out this way but his hatred is still fixated on Konoha...
Kage fight was good, albeit obvious to the very end. |

By Sasuke's logic (and of course Tobi told him the whole story in such a way) Konoha is the evil that forced Itachi to make such ugly decisions, they used a perfect ninja. As it was said by Kakashi in the beginning of the manga ninjas are just "tools" of the village and the country. This is the basic idea for this cruel world, and in such a world the "perfect" ninja is the perfect tool of his village, which Itachi was. By this logic the only imperfection of Itachi was that he could not kill Sasuke. A perfect ninja must kill his emotions and blah blah (insert some Narutoverse crazy logic here)... Kakashi also wanted to be the perfect ninja, until Obito's death, that is when he fundamentally changed and became a real good guy instead of just being a tool of his village. Even criminals like Sasori wanted to achieve such a "perfection" where he kills all his emotions and becomes a perfect killing machine, the only difference that made him a criminal was that he didn't serve his country. But humans cannot become machines, for Sasori his imperfection were his feelings towards his parents, for Itachi his feelings towards his brother. So i can understand Sasuke's hatred towards Konoha, it's a natural outcome of all what happened to him. Sure his thinking is very simple, one could even say stupid, but even more intelligent ninja like Orochimaru couldn't escape the trap of doing stupid things because of their strong emotions driving them instead of their inellect. Orochimaru was intelligent enough to understand many secrets behind the ninja world, he had a great plan to become not only immortal but also godlike as the sage of 6 paths, but despite that he managed to get killed because of his emotions and arrogance driving him to risky situations where he first lost his arms, then lost the control of a body against Sasuke and finally got sealed by Itachi. Had he executed his plans in a logical way, like an emotionless machine would, he would now be even stronger than Kabuto.
