I'm pretty sure thats the most anticipated thing about this show for a lot of people but whether it actually happens and what constitutes adequate suffering for this particular cast is anyone's guess. If when we cross the suffering threshold whether we know or not will be up to the individual to decide I think.

Then again, he could just completely ignore the girls since he probably saw females in skin tight suits on a regular basis |

Personally theory of mine is that the galactic alliance will show up and "reclaim" earth for the sake of humanity forcing Ledo to fight to defend is new home pr better yet one of these aliens followed him back to earth. If that doesn't happen it'll make for good fan-fiction material.

Congrats on the sub-forum.
lol The Alliance probably has far better mechs than Chambers, so Ledo most likely would not stand a chance against them with what he has now. A weaker Hideazure (I think?) would be a more sensible enemy that cast can deal with. |

................Actually, I hope the show won't go into that way. A story is already good in its current tone.

Oh yeah! Very happy this got a subforum since I am a week behind on this due to various things.
My impression from watching the first two episodes is that the true darkness in this is the nature of humanity itself. But I think there will be could be some hope to it as Amy changes Ledo for the better and "saves" him. I also wouldn't be surprised if Poor Communication Kills and the Hideuze are not as evil(or like BETA from Muv-Luv) as they are portrayed.

Speaking of the timelines of human existence, I'm curious just how long Ledo's kind have been adrift in space. It's long enough for language to have evolved to the point of being unintelligible, so at least several hundred years. |

Just watched ep 3.
Once again, Ledo must suffer consuming yet another animal carcass...oh, the(delicious, juicy, grilled) indignity!! :P It kinda makes you wonder what Alliance space food consists of. Vitamin water maybe? That would explain the gray pack Ledo was drinking out of in Ep 2. Last edited by Pellissier; 2013-04-25 at 09:33. It must be some kind of concentrated life sustenance liquid food.
Soldiers of the alliance probably don't have a food culture at all. They just need to assume nutrients to survive and nothing else. There was also another aspect I was considering which lies at... the other end of the "feeding" issue. I suppose Ledo's suit is technological advanced enough to "take care" of that problem by some kind of recycling system, just like the suits in Dune.
